Skada Damage Meter
Skada is a modular damage meter for World of Warcraft with various viewing modes, segmented fights, and customizable windows. It is designed for efficiency with minimal memory and CPU impact.
"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".
Midnight Edition (WoW 12.0+)
This version of Skada is updated for World of Warcraft: Midnight and uses Blizzard's new session-based combat systems.

Usage
Getting Started
A default window is created upon first load. Access the configuration menu by clicking the cog icon on the window title bar or via the minimap button. Select Configure to access settings.
Multiple Windows
Skada supports multiple windows. Create new ones under the Windows section of the configuration panel. Windows can be:
- Bar: The standard customizable meter.
- Inline: A horizontal line for custom UI setups.
- Data Text: For LDB displays and minimal setups.
Navigation
- Left-Click: View more detailed information.
- Right-Click: Return to the previous view.
- Mousewheel: Scroll through lists.
- Tooltips: Hover over bars to see additional context and shortcut keys (e.g., Shift-click for targets).
Themes
Manage window designs with the built-in Theme Engine. You can import and export themes by using theme strings.
Versions
- Midnight (Default): For WoW 12.0+ using the Native API.
- Classic Version: The version for older WoW releases.

Posted Mar 7, 2013About the issue with "Storm, Earth and Fire" giving the player 2-3 separate instances on the damage meter:
The same also happens for hunters, when their pet has the same name as the player character (pet owner).
Would be nice if you could give a fix for both.

Posted Mar 6, 2013I fixed the Storm, Earth, and Fire bug by making it so that players are merged by name if their name matches but their id doesn't match.

Posted Mar 6, 2013Windwalker monks in 5.2 have the ability "Storm, Earth and Fire" that produces up to 2 clones of the player. I've noticed that Skada is reporting my two clones as individuals (with my name) and because the ability reduces my damage by either 40% or 60%, there can be 6 or more of 'me' sitting last in the dps meters by the end of a fight.
I have "merge pets" enabled, thinking that might make a difference, but it's still showing 'me' multiple times. The last Skada update didn't change anything, so I'm just wondering if this is something in the works or not.

Posted Mar 6, 2013This is causing major lag in combat. Even at the training dummies, as soon as I pop Stampede or something with a lot of activity, I get choppy and lock up. I have tested every addon down to the wire, and only with this active, is this happening.
I hope it's fixed soon, as I'd hate to have to replace it.

Posted Feb 27, 2013Could you please make the addon have a separate character-based variable for position / dimension of the window rather than making it account-based? It's a minor annoyance to have to drag the bar around the screen based on which toon I'm on.
Aside from that, I only see an error when I select display types every once in a while (i.e. ranks will jump all over the place, 1, 3, 4, 2, 10 instead of ordinally).
