Skada Damage Meter
Skada is a modular damage meter for World of Warcraft with various viewing modes, segmented fights, and customizable windows. It is designed for efficiency with minimal memory and CPU impact.
"Skada" is Swedish for "Damage".
Midnight Edition (WoW 12.0+)
This version of Skada is updated for World of Warcraft: Midnight and uses Blizzard's new session-based combat systems.

Usage
Getting Started
A default window is created upon first load. Access the configuration menu by clicking the cog icon on the window title bar or via the minimap button. Select Configure to access settings.
Multiple Windows
Skada supports multiple windows. Create new ones under the Windows section of the configuration panel. Windows can be:
- Bar: The standard customizable meter.
- Inline: A horizontal line for custom UI setups.
- Data Text: For LDB displays and minimal setups.
Navigation
- Left-Click: View more detailed information.
- Right-Click: Return to the previous view.
- Mousewheel: Scroll through lists.
- Tooltips: Hover over bars to see additional context and shortcut keys (e.g., Shift-click for targets).
Themes
Manage window designs with the built-in Theme Engine. You can import and export themes by using theme strings.
Versions
- Midnight (Default): For WoW 12.0+ using the Native API.
- Classic Version: The version for older WoW releases.

Posted Aug 13, 2011just a small request for the new version.
I was used to placing the Skada window in the lower corner of the screen, with only "Skada mode" line visible, and dragging it up at the end of the fight or when I needed it. With the new version I can't do that, as the whole skada screen must stay on screen, and can't be pushed partly out of the screen. Can you please add an option for that, or return to the previous showing system?

Posted Aug 12, 2011I have to enable the title bar to move the window around, but then when I hide the title, sometimes the damage bars show where the title bar was, sometimes above it, and sometimes below (with no real consistency as far as I can tell).
Also, when I drag the window resizer and touch the bottom of the screen, the skada window resizes upwards, which is really annoying as I'm trying to fit it into the bottom right corner of my screen - the same happens when you get to the right of the screen, skada resizes to the left.

Posted Aug 12, 2011Unless I am blind and/or retarded the option to change the bar texture is no longer available, I was wondering if the option is there and I just can't find it or if it isn't there do you plan on putting it back in?
(just for clarity I don't mean the title bar textures I mean the bars where the dps data is tracked in the main bit of the window)

Posted Aug 11, 2011As someone with multiple level 85 characters the following are my problems:
1) Lost my previous window locations
2) Correcting the window positions in a profile did not appear on other characters after using the copy from existing profile
3) Background on one window changed
I love the multiple windows in Skada, but if rolling back to 1.3-1 didn't restore my UI I was seriously considering uninstalling Skada. I just didn't want to deal with fixing the problems on multiple windows on every single character.
