SharedMediaAdditionalFonts
Inserts more than 40 additional fonts into LibSharedMedia's storage.
LibSharedMedia is used in an estimated ~1,250+ addons and downloaded over 100 million times.
LibSharedMedia is used as a library in other addons to add resources such as fonts, sounds, images, … By installing SharedMediaAdditionalFonts, you add fonts to the list of fonts provided by LibSharedMedia to these addons. If your other addons do not use LibSharedMedia, this addon (SharedMediaAdditionalFonts) doesn't do anything.

(includes fonts and the lines that you need to add to the bottom of your SharedMediaAdditionalFonts.lua)

I have a very special problem with this AddOn, it works fine on my German client but when I change the language to russian and create a char on a russian server the fonts are not loaded! Someone using my UI had this problem and I tested it out myself with the latest version to confirm. Any way you can reproduce/fix this?
As you can see in this screenshot addon loaded but you can't select other fonts: http://i.imgur.com/KZgViis.jpg
To test yourself:
1. Change language in bnet client to russian then restart bnet
2. open wow and change wow language to russian then close wow and restart bnet again
3. open bnet and wow now you can create a char on russian server!

Posted Sep 12, 2016Awesome! As a side note, if you want the font to be added to the addon itself, so your configuration does not get overridden after each update, let me know which font you want to add and I'll review it and potentially add it if licensing is fine and it supports most characters :)

Posted Feb 17, 2015Well there is nothing to do. You install this addon, and its fonts are automatically added to any other addon that uses SharedMedia. For example, Grid uses it; so you would get additional fonts there. A million other addons use it too :-)

I was wondering about the issue between recount and SharedMedia.
I'm not able to get any more fonts into Recount more than the orignial ones ( http://oi62.tinypic.com/686g03.jpg )
I have SharedMedia, SharedMedia: Renaitre and SharedMediaAdditionalFonts downloaded but nothing seem to work. You think you can figure out what's wrong?

Posted Dec 4, 2014I believe this is a problem with Recount where it doesn't use a shared media font library but only the ones that it provides for itself. Not 100% sure though.
