About
Cryolysis 2 is sphere mod for mages that automates many common tasks and provides for an easy to use interface for casting spells. Cryolysis 2 provides you with a 10 circular buttons that surround an larger center sphere. The buttons are as follows:
- Food and Water: Allows easy conjuring, trading, and consuming of food and water.
- Mana Gem: Allows easy conjuring and consuming of mana gems.
- Evocation: Dedicated button for using Evocation.
- Mount: Allows easy use of your mounts.
- Teleport and Portal Menu: Organizes and provides easy access to your teleport and portal spells. Each city has it's own button.
- Buff Menu: Organizes your buffs into one easy to use menu. Buff buttons also have reagent counts where applicable.
- Custom Buttons: Three completely customizable buttons that can be assigned to spells, items, or macros.
Cryolysis 2 also comes with a full configuration menu that can be accessed by right-clicking the main center sphere, or by typing /cryo in chat.
Additional features include:
- Funny messages when using your mounts, teleports, portals, and several other spells. These can be toggled on and off as desired.
- Automatic reagent restocking
Past Versions
Cryolysis 2 is now the official release download.
Barring any unforeseen problems, Cryolysis 1 ("Revived", "Reborn", "New Beginning") will no longer be updated/supported. If there is a specific reason(s) you're using Version 1 and need a hot fix to keep it working, you can post here in comments (make sure you note that you are referring to Version 1) or send any member of the team a private message through Curse (list is in the top right corner), and we will try to implement fixes as time permits.

- Configuration Menu
To open the Configuration Menu, right-click the Main-Sphere. If you have hidden the main sphere, you can get a list of of commands by typing "/cryo". - Custom Buttons
Custom buttons can now use either spells, items, or macros. Make sure when setting up the custom buttons that you select the correct type (ie: spell, macro, item) and that you press Enter after typing in the name. If you don't press enter, your changes will not be saved. - Spell Timers
Timers have not been implemented yet. As such, the spell timers option should be turned off in the configuration menu for now. These will be implemented sometime after patch 2.4. - Messages/Speeches
Currently, Short Messages have not been implemented. There are a number of different options to display random messages:- USER: Messages will display for you only. Mildly useless, but the functionality is there.
- WORLD: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that /say.
- GROUP: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that it will remain silent. Old Cryo1 Behavior.
- RAID: Messages will display for /raid, bar that it will remain silent.
- PARTY: Messages will display for /party, bar that it will remain silent.
- SAY: Messages will display in /say.
- Localizations
To help localise Cryo2 in your language, download Cryo2 from WoWAce, edit your locale file in the /locales/ and send it to us. Files should be encoded in utf-8.
Other Info
User input is very important, so please post here anything related to the mod's functionality with as much detail as possible. Please only post Cryolysis 2 errors, as the original Cryolysis will no longer be getting updated Thanks.

Posted Apr 5, 2008The TOC has not been updated to reflect version 2.4 yet. So it will show as out-of-date in the addons window. Just check the "Load out-of-date add-ons" checkbox and it will load fine. It is still completely compatible in 2.4.

Posted Apr 3, 2008Is the last version working at 2.4? I really loved this addon in pre-2.4 and now its out of date... ofc i can use it like that, but i rather to use a version that is made for 2.4. Maybe i am wrong, but it says that this version is working for 2.3.3, am i right?

Posted Apr 5, 2008If you go to the Config menu. Under "Buttons", is the "Mount" button. There you can set which mount is summoned by which action. remember your mount needs to be in your bags for Cryo to know about it.
RoR is conjured by either Shift-Right-Click or Alt-Right-Click (I don't rememeber which off the top of my head) on the food or water buttons.

Posted Mar 25, 2008hello... i'm not one of the devs from this addon but if u use the spanish local open Locale-esES.lua in AddOns\Cryolysis2\Locales with wordpad(!!) and go to line 301 and check if the translation is right. i also got this problem and fixed it on this way.
btw: i propose Notepad++ for editing .lua files but wordpad is fine, too.

what i do is type the name of the spell frostbolt then enter i get that message

Posted Mar 19, 2008I love this addon, but I have one problem. In every new version I've downloaded after 55524, my spell timers are non-functional. I use aceupdater, so I see the new versions, but after every update, I've had to revert to 55524. I'm deleting old directory before install, if that matters. Any ideas?

Posted Mar 16, 2008Ya i got Cryolysis2 and i absoulutly love it. I am having one problem though, i can't put my racial abbilities like Cannabalize and Will of the Forsaken in the custom buttons. If there is a certain way i have to do this. please explain.

Posted Mar 16, 2008I've got a problem where whenever I install a new release of Cryolysis 2, it doesn't work - it shows up as a sad/mad face with no buttons around the circle, and there's one small and one big button side by side in the middle of the screen. But if I install the version from 1/14/08 it works fine. Any ideas what's up?

Posted Mar 17, 2008A couple of things to try:
-Delete the Cryolysis 2 folder completely, then extract the latest version. Overwriting an old version without deleting it completely can cause many common problems.
-Try the following command in-game: "/cryo profile reset" and then "/reloadui"
-If all else fails, reset your UI to the default and start from scratch (or if you know how to delete just cryo2's saved variables, just do that).

Posted Mar 15, 2008Updated! Just bringing the Curse version up-to-date with the wowace SVN version. Here are the changes since the last Curse version:
- Added initial framework for debuff timers
- Fixed a taint error thrown while using a mana gem in combat
- update zhTW localization
- update zhCN localization
- Fixed flying machine icon showing as broom mount icon
- Commented out lines that were set to true in multiple locale files so that users don't continue to get errors.
- Updated German locale
- Updated Spanish locale
- Updated French locale
- Added ability to select which mounts the mount button uses (configuration options) - Fixed a tooltip problem with the the bottom custom button

Posted Mar 12, 2008I really like this mod, good job!
But I have to admit I still prefer the old cryolysis for these 2 reasons:
- the "Mana Gem Cooldown" option on the Sphere Event shows you a list of your gems which are green if already conjured or red if missing. Very useful for a fast check before a boss encounter.
- you can have Armor and Intellect as option on Custom Left/Right buttons of Cryolysis: New Beginning, which allows you to buff faster.
To access those buffs on Cryolysis2, you have to click the spell button and search them, which is a bit annoying when you only have 5 secs to buff at 0 cost after you ress in battleground.
Sorry for my bad english, hope you can add these little changes someday :P thx

Posted Mar 9, 2008I have tried to run both of these in the custom buttons. Yes I have set them as a macro and yes I have hit enter. I have also removed the show tooltip line. Can anyone give me some insight as to my problem?

i have a problem with the random textmessages... I play on a german client, so i just translatet the textmessages for pig and so on. My Problem now is, that i found a translation for Ä,Ü,ß, but not for Ö...
The messages work fine, but when a message with a "Ö" into should displayed, i get an errormessage, that chatmessages should be in FT-8. I think, thats all because of the "untranslatet Ö", i hope you can follow...
Did someone know the localisation-code for Ö? Would be great, grin
