About
Cryolysis 2 is sphere mod for mages that automates many common tasks and provides for an easy to use interface for casting spells. Cryolysis 2 provides you with a 10 circular buttons that surround an larger center sphere. The buttons are as follows:
- Food and Water: Allows easy conjuring, trading, and consuming of food and water.
- Mana Gem: Allows easy conjuring and consuming of mana gems.
- Evocation: Dedicated button for using Evocation.
- Mount: Allows easy use of your mounts.
- Teleport and Portal Menu: Organizes and provides easy access to your teleport and portal spells. Each city has it's own button.
- Buff Menu: Organizes your buffs into one easy to use menu. Buff buttons also have reagent counts where applicable.
- Custom Buttons: Three completely customizable buttons that can be assigned to spells, items, or macros.
Cryolysis 2 also comes with a full configuration menu that can be accessed by right-clicking the main center sphere, or by typing /cryo in chat.
Additional features include:
- Funny messages when using your mounts, teleports, portals, and several other spells. These can be toggled on and off as desired.
- Automatic reagent restocking
Past Versions
Cryolysis 2 is now the official release download.
Barring any unforeseen problems, Cryolysis 1 ("Revived", "Reborn", "New Beginning") will no longer be updated/supported. If there is a specific reason(s) you're using Version 1 and need a hot fix to keep it working, you can post here in comments (make sure you note that you are referring to Version 1) or send any member of the team a private message through Curse (list is in the top right corner), and we will try to implement fixes as time permits.
FAQ
- Configuration Menu
To open the Configuration Menu, right-click the Main-Sphere. If you have hidden the main sphere, you can get a list of of commands by typing "/cryo". - Custom Buttons
Custom buttons can now use either spells, items, or macros. Make sure when setting up the custom buttons that you select the correct type (ie: spell, macro, item) and that you press Enter after typing in the name. If you don't press enter, your changes will not be saved. - Spell Timers
Timers have not been implemented yet. As such, the spell timers option should be turned off in the configuration menu for now. These will be implemented sometime after patch 2.4. - Messages/Speeches
Currently, Short Messages have not been implemented. There are a number of different options to display random messages:- USER: Messages will display for you only. Mildly useless, but the functionality is there.
- WORLD: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that /say.
- GROUP: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that it will remain silent. Old Cryo1 Behavior.
- RAID: Messages will display for /raid, bar that it will remain silent.
- PARTY: Messages will display for /party, bar that it will remain silent.
- SAY: Messages will display in /say.
- Localizations
To help localise Cryo2 in your language, download Cryo2 from WoWAce, edit your locale file in the /locales/ and send it to us. Files should be encoded in utf-8.

User input is very important, so please post here anything related to the mod's functionality with as much detail as possible. Please only post Cryolysis 2 errors, as the original Cryolysis will no longer be getting updated Thanks.

ok the 69850 is working much better. The buttons are where they should be :)
Now i have 2 Problems:
1st. In the Mount button there is only the stone - i couldn't get the flying or the walking mount configured.
2nd. When i hover over the "Hervorrufung" (don't know it in englisch :)) then i get this message:

Evocation button work, stone "de foyer" (don't know the english translation) button work but the button is named "mount" (monture) instead of the right name (pierre de foyer), others problems are the same : nothing happen when i click on the buff menu and i can't make appear others buttons around the sphere like food, water, gems, portals.

Posted Apr 14, 2008I have the same problem... the mount button only shows the hearthstone (pierre de foyer), no food and drink button nor the gem and portal buttons are appearing... text in menu for inner sphere does not show anything... Evocation, left right and down self buttons are working, did not try the buff button... Well, for me it is completely broken... I got no error message at launch...
Uhuru, le bouton monture fait clic-milieu Pierre de foyer et clic-gauche et droit deux montures équipées au choix... C'est le but...
euh, Paene, I have found another error in the locale-frFR.lua:
["Current Mana"] = "Mana acutuelle"; should be ["Current Mana"] = "Mana actuelle";

Posted Apr 15, 2008I may have discovered the source of these problems. I'm working on fixing it, but it might not be working until tomorrow as there's a lot of code to sift through and fix. For now, just roll back to a previous working version. :)

Posted Apr 14, 2008The tooltip.lua:30 nil bug has been fixed in r69711 on WoWAce. I think.
If I understand correctly, the bug happens only on non-English WoW Client locales.
Further fixes were implemented in r69714, it may be fully fixed now.

Some buttons around the sphere are present but nothing happen when i click on it, teleportation, food,water and gems buttons are not shown around the sphere in all case (hide option ticked or not)

Posted Apr 14, 2008The problems still exist. i created all managems to get them cached. now the same message appears with "polymorph" instead of "mana jade".
There is also an error on mouseover the mainsphere in interface\AddOns\Crylosis2\buttons\tooltip.1ua:30 attempt to concentrate a nil value.
last working SVN-version is r68531.

Posted Apr 13, 2008Many of the errors people are coming across are the result of the item cache being reset after each patch. I'm working on a way to re-populate the items necessary to the mod while it's loading, however, it's not working yet. In the meantime, the easy fix is to manually create/buy each of the following items:
Mana Agate
Mana Jade
Mana Citrine
Mana Ruby
Mana Emerald
Light Feather
Rune of Teleportation
Rune of Portals
Buying/creating these items will add them to your cache. If you don't want to die them, you can have someone link them to you in a chat channel.

Posted Apr 13, 2008I decided to try Cryolisis2 the other day and I must say I'm impressed. Works for me, and as soon as I get used to using it instead of my bars I'll free up a ton of space! Thank you.
One thing I noticed in the Reagent restocking options is none of my (6) sliders are marked. Hovering over the top one of each pair only gives me, "ToolTip Text" in my tooltip. Hovering over the next gives me "ToolTip Text " along with text saying to choose how many of the reagent (Runes, Dust) to keep restocked. Using this I've been able to set up fine, but it seems something is a bit haywire.
Also, once you have time :) I would also like the option to edit the order of the hardcoded buttons (especially the armor one since I use Molten 90% of the time).
Lastly, any chance of an in-range indication on the buffs we can cast on others?
Thanks again. No rush, just hope you can add this to your To-Do list. (I'd prefer either of these to mount messages, but that's just one person's opinion.)

Posted Apr 13, 2008Hey i just downloaded this and finally got all the bugs worked out (after uninstalling the addedon and re downloading it lol) This may seems like a pretty small thing but it would be cool if the hard coded mage buttons could be personalised, etc change left right and middle click to better suit your spec/preferences (eg: mage arour)

Posted Apr 12, 2008Hi, that Addon worked really fine until the last two new versions. Now the whole sphere loads really "fragmentated" (Buttons are missing, one button is sitting right in the middle of the screen, saying something about teleporting me to Darna and such things...)
I reinstalled it, deleted the WTF-files and nothing worked really. I get only two errormessages (which i find not so much, for the look, that cryolysis now in my UI gave^^)
First one:

Posted Apr 12, 2008I like the update, but now whenever i move mouse over the addon on my screen i get
interface\AddOns\Crylosis2\buttons\tooltip.1ua:30 attempt to concentrate a nil value. Please have this problem i don't like seeing an error message just b/c i am moving my mousae over the addon its self or to move it, its getting annoying.
