About
Cryolysis 2 is sphere mod for mages that automates many common tasks and provides for an easy to use interface for casting spells. Cryolysis 2 provides you with a 10 circular buttons that surround an larger center sphere. The buttons are as follows:
- Food and Water: Allows easy conjuring, trading, and consuming of food and water.
- Mana Gem: Allows easy conjuring and consuming of mana gems.
- Evocation: Dedicated button for using Evocation.
- Mount: Allows easy use of your mounts.
- Teleport and Portal Menu: Organizes and provides easy access to your teleport and portal spells. Each city has it's own button.
- Buff Menu: Organizes your buffs into one easy to use menu. Buff buttons also have reagent counts where applicable.
- Custom Buttons: Three completely customizable buttons that can be assigned to spells, items, or macros.
Cryolysis 2 also comes with a full configuration menu that can be accessed by right-clicking the main center sphere, or by typing /cryo in chat.
Additional features include:
- Funny messages when using your mounts, teleports, portals, and several other spells. These can be toggled on and off as desired.
- Automatic reagent restocking
Past Versions
Cryolysis 2 is now the official release download.
Barring any unforeseen problems, Cryolysis 1 ("Revived", "Reborn", "New Beginning") will no longer be updated/supported. If there is a specific reason(s) you're using Version 1 and need a hot fix to keep it working, you can post here in comments (make sure you note that you are referring to Version 1) or send any member of the team a private message through Curse (list is in the top right corner), and we will try to implement fixes as time permits.
FAQ
- Configuration Menu
To open the Configuration Menu, right-click the Main-Sphere. If you have hidden the main sphere, you can get a list of of commands by typing "/cryo". - Custom Buttons
Custom buttons can now use either spells, items, or macros. Make sure when setting up the custom buttons that you select the correct type (ie: spell, macro, item) and that you press Enter after typing in the name. If you don't press enter, your changes will not be saved. - Spell Timers
Timers have not been implemented yet. As such, the spell timers option should be turned off in the configuration menu for now. These will be implemented sometime after patch 2.4. - Messages/Speeches
Currently, Short Messages have not been implemented. There are a number of different options to display random messages:- USER: Messages will display for you only. Mildly useless, but the functionality is there.
- WORLD: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that /say.
- GROUP: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that it will remain silent. Old Cryo1 Behavior.
- RAID: Messages will display for /raid, bar that it will remain silent.
- PARTY: Messages will display for /party, bar that it will remain silent.
- SAY: Messages will display in /say.
- Localizations
To help localise Cryo2 in your language, download Cryo2 from WoWAce, edit your locale file in the /locales/ and send it to us. Files should be encoded in utf-8.
Other Info
User input is very important, so please post here anything related to the mod's functionality with as much detail as possible. Please only post Cryolysis 2 errors, as the original Cryolysis will no longer be getting updated Thanks.

- Changed the Sphere settings to dropdown menus
- Fix Mana Emerald button cooldown to work with the '3 Charges' system
- Fixed random message errors if set to display in Group or Raid and the player is not in a party or raid respectively

Posted Jan 14, 2008The serious message problems I reported with the mod 5 hours ago is with r58412. Downloaded from the Wowace SVN, which was updated before Curse was.
The "Fixed random message errors if set to display in Group or Raid and the player is not in a party or raid respectively "fix" is either part of the problem or hasn't fixed the problem.

Posted Jan 14, 2008Cryolysis is now unusable for me, having downloaded the latest patch of the latest patch of this addon. The Cryolysis main circle is in the same place I put it, but it has like a purple "psychic scream" image in the centre and the radial border is all purple. There are no buttons attached. There are three little circles on my screen (that seem like they should be attached), two where I am in the middle of my screen, and whenever I mouse over them I get the error messages (some seem to be complaining about incorrect FuBar files). There is another little circle offset sort off hgher up the screen and to the right.
I will need to disable Cryolysis until this problem is fixed.

Posted Jan 14, 2008Messages are still rather buggy.
r58412 from the Wowace SVN, playing a level 22 mage alt. Under "Message Settings" in the Waterfall config window, have the following selected:
--For Chat Channel, have either "Party" or "Say" selected (behavior is the same in each).
--Have Short Messages either checked or unchecked.
--Have the 3 Polymorph checkmark boxes checked, as well as the Ritual one.
--Have Mount, Teleport & Portal messages checkboxes UNchecked.
Click Teleport: Ironforge, Teleport: Stormwind or Teleport:Exodar buttons on either the Blizzard spell bar or via the Cryolysis function and the following message is thrown up every time you do it:
" is my sheep. There are many others like it but this one is mine."
Incorrect, of course. Not only is a message not supposed to be thrown up--as Teleport Messages is unchecked--but it throws up one of the sheep ones on a portal cast (with no target name in it).
As well, during testing with sheeping before the above problem occurred, it threw up a few random sheep messages properly on sheeps. But then I went into the Waterfall menu and checkmarked "Short Messages". The message changed to constantly be the one above: "Dire Condor is my sheep. There are many others like it but this one is mine." (the target name at the beginning changed according to target).
It never changed from that one message on any sheep after that. So I went back into the Waterfall menu and unchecked "Short Messages". But the same sheep message was still given all the time.
Have disabled the messages for now and moved on to a mod that handles them properly. Hope the messages in Cryolysis start working correctly soon.

Ever since I installed the newest version for 2.3.2, I get weird errors. I can't use it, period.

I am by no means good a programming but I might be able to help you anyway.
First of all: are you using wowace-updater? If yes then update cryolysis again, because earlier today there was a minor mishap which caused cryolysis not to work
If no then you can try a few things:
download this version
http://files.wowace.com/Cryolysis2/Cryolysis2.zip
which is a beta.
If none of this works then try and remove the WTF folder (but make sure you create a back up first because all your personale settings are in here). After removing this then try runing wow again.

Thanks for the great work you are doing.
I found a minor bug. It is with the new implementation of portal/teleport (posible also sheep) messages. When you set these to only display in party's and you aren't in a party then you get an error message state'ing that your aren't in a party. Would it be posible to make a check before trying to display the message like:
if in a party "display random portal message"
otherwise do nothing?
I have another request or just a question, if you set the message to display in raids, will it then also be displayed in party's? If this isn't the case would it then be posible to have it work like it did in cryolysis 1. The way it worked here (I am guessing) was that it displayed the message in raid if you were in a raid; if you were in a party the message would apppear in /p and so on.

Posted Jan 13, 2008This has been fixed in the latest commit.
If you want to preserve the Cryo1 behaviour, select the "Group" option.
It will then display for Raid, or if you are not in a raid display for Party, if you are not in a party it will remain silent.
This may be sort of confusing, but people will get used to it :p
EDIT: I edited the FAQ with the information about the different functions. If you or anybody else have any other combination requests post them here and I'll add them.

Ive been using Cryolusis2 for some time and it have been working fine, but with your new update
it all of sudden don't work anymore. Its all just kinda messed up.

Posted Jan 13, 2008Try updating from WoWAce again, there was a problem with the Externals causing it to not include Babble-Zone.
I have fixed the externals attribute so the next build from the WowAce SVN should include the proper library.

Posted Jan 13, 2008One thing to note, while the messages will work in other languages, localization support has not been added for them yet as they are not completely finished. We're also looking for a way to make it easier to customize.
