PitBull Unit Frames 4.0

Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Aha so via layouts, my only question I can't find the answer to in the guides is, where do I specify if the target is hostile/friendly? Thank you in advance.

So say I make a layout Target friendly, and Target Enemy, how do I set up in the Unit window Target to make use of both these? Or is that not how to do it?

The one you are seeing in bear and cat is the separate druid mana bar. The one you would see in caster form (human) or moonkin is the standard power bar.

How can i do to show my mana bar in human form with my druid please ?
I only able to see it with bear and cat but i never spell any cast with those animals.. ;)
If someone have an idea?:

That feature is called "Combat Text"

Check to ensure you have it enabled under Modules > Combat Text

To adjust where it shows and that its enabled for that layout its under the Texts tab on the layout editor

I had to format my computer a few weeks ago and redo all my ui. I use pitbull 4, I can't see incoming dmg on myself, target, target's target, focus etc (I see the health on the plates dropping, but I dont see when it ticks and the number of the tick/hit). It's a big deal for me since I'm a rogue, I need to know when a dot ticks on me so I can re-stealth at the right time and reopen without failing.
I looked everywhere and I just cant find where I can make it tracks it. I was using pitbull4 before my computer crashed and I could track it.
Please help :((

When I installed this addon, it seemed to change the font types of all the addons that I am currently using. Is this a known issue?

Also, is it not possible to manually move fonts (using X/Y positioning) rather than positioning them in specific areas only?

Pitbull 4 uses Shared Media for fonts. If you had a customized version of Shared Media that may have been causing the conflict.

And there is a ticket on X/Y positioning but it is not an included option at this time.

I will check again at some point but it seems to be when targeting non-players the frames have no info on them except a health bar. The player frames and targeting a player seem to work just fine.

So far from what I can tell there is a few bugs on the 4.3 PTR I hope your around to check into it, not sure what I will do without Pitbull

i like pitbull, i was just wondering when you were gonna update it to 4.0.3, the config mode only has disable and solo mode. Also when I'm running a 10 man raid, it's fine but when it's converted to a 25 man the frames disapear.

It sounds like you need to adjust your filtering to include a larger than 10 man raid group.

I can not give an ETA on the release of the config modes issue as I am not the one working on that. What I can say is that we do realize it is a priority and have been working on it. Unfortunately real life takes priority over game time.

I assume you have tested with just Pitbull4 as your only addon loaded.

If so, please make a ticket on wowace (same login and PW as here) and attach your screenshot and your pitbull4.lua file to the ticket. (You will have the option to add attachments after the ticket is made)

3D portraits don't should up correctly anymore, there all black with some times a bob of a head now and there lol. Any idea how to fix that??
