Getting Started:

You can help translate PitBull for your language with the localization tool.

Classic

PitBull works with WoW Classic! Classic Era/Vanilla is supported in v4.3.x-vanilla releases. Cataclysm Classic is supported in v4.2.x releases (the same releases retail use).

Classic Era caveats:

Aura duration is not available from the API, so PitBull uses LibClassicDurations to show them. The duration can be inaccurate if it's affected by rank or talents.
Cast info is only available for your spells from the API. PitBull uses LibClassicCasterino to show cast bars for other units, but this can be inaccurate since there is a lot of guess-work involved.

Checked the guide but only told me how to make party and raid frames, I love the character/pet/target etc (basicly the portraits) but would like to keep my old raid frames is it possible to disable the raid an party frames and spare some memory usage?

go to /pb Modules > Hide Blizzard Frames and uncheck those items you want to use the default Blizz frames for.

I can't get this addon to work on my hunter. The setup works fine on all other characters, even with pets out, but when I take out my pet on my hunter, the game freezes for a second or two. Following that, only the health bar of my pet will show up, and the background will be gone. If I log into the game with my pet already out, the above happens (sometimes the health bar doesn't draw as well), as well as the background and portrait being missing from the player frame. Is this a bug or do you have any suggestions as to how I can fix this?

Sounds like you are not using the latest version (beta28) as that was happening for users after the removal of the happiness for pets.

1 - What style do you have set for your highlights? Have you tried changing it from "border" to "normal" ?

2 - If you are filtering by things you can dispel (this is the default) and do not have the talent to dispel magic, it will not highlight the frame, since you can not actually dispel it. You can also add it to the filter to include Static charge always using the guide.

3 - Change the layout on the pets group to be the same as the layout on your raid group.

New to pitbull here. I read the guide, but I bthink I missed something because I have two questions. Is there a way to makethe entire raid frame of a player be tinged with a certain color when debuffed? Not just around the edges, but the entire frame. ADditionally I wasin group that was being hit by static charge last night and in truth I never seen any blue aura to show magic debuff and I was looking because I had to cleanse it. Is this a bug or do I need to specifically add the spell? Lastly how do I turn pets into raid frames instead of big frames.

Hi, I have a problem with my cast bar.. After turning on pitbull, it disapeared and I can only turn it on as a bar, like a health bar. I can't make it to be like it always has been, on the centre of my screen. What am I doing wrong?

My 'Hide Blizzard Frames' doesn't seem to be working properly. The blizzard self and target frames are popping up behind the pitbull ones. I have to go into the pitbull options and disable then enable again the 'Hide Blizzard Frames'; but then the blizzard frames pop up again when I change locations or zone into someplace new. It's highly irritating. Please fix or let me know how to work around this issue. I like pitbull usually.

Hey, noob question, but I am having trouble with buffs showing under my frame. I want it to show on my Target Frame, Target's Target Frame, and Focus, but not my own. Is there a way to do this?

Make a different layout for frames where you do/don't want to see something different. The guide linked above can help you with that.

Not sure if the addon's broken, but since 4.1 my party frames aren't showing up anymore in a normal 5-man party. Pets seem to show for hunters and warlocks, but not the players' frames. Any idea on what could be causing this?

I'm using Pitbull's party frames, but Blizzard's built-in raid frames. I have the Blizzard party frames disabled.
