A smart and simple buff notification addon-on. When u gain Hot Streak, Brain Freeze & MissleBarrage proc, displays a flashing fullscreen-effect and plays a sound

Never miss the instant pyroblast, fireball or Missle Barrage

Displays Arcanblast debuff as Combo Points (Rogue or Cat like) [Only in v1.3 alpha]

Commands:

/magealert - commandlist

/magealert flash on/off" - disable/enable flashing fullscreen effect

/magealert sound on/off" - disable/enable sound notification

/magealert fofsound on/off" - disable/enable Fingers of Frost sound notification

Support for all locations in current release !

Only sheeps are prettier!

Eventough this isnt updated, it is working just fine, no bugs / errors here what so ever! but indeed would be nice if you could do it to fit other clases also, fx hunter, warlocks and warriors etc.

this is indeed the best addon out there !

If someone updates this, maybe they could also fix it so that the sound effects are affected by the in-game sound level settings? currently, if I turn down the in-game sound but leave my system sound at normal level, the magealert sounds play at full volume, which is really obnoxious. And thanks in advance to anyone who decides to work on this.

OH CRY I came here *just* to get this one :( I am ALWAYS missing my brain freeze I wish I hadn't wasted the points.... as a frost mage I never use fireball except for with brain freeze... I really need this :'(

Is this addon going to be updated any time soon? I was loving it but it seems to be a bit on the broken side since 3.1. For mages this addon really does rock.

Can u make the same thing 4 warriors looked everwhere the only good one is slam alert.Mage alert is the best addon ive seen 4 this game just please do one 4 the warrior

well that's why I suggested it be added as a "choice" - to turn on or off. Lots of times I'm just too slow to hit it a second time and it times out and I loose it (esp now that the little sound is gone). Bleh! I'm just not that fast no more it seems! I'm not talking about an indefinite pyro autoshoot, just a second pyro shot that automatically kicks in at the hot streat notification and then stop. Just a suggestion.

I dont think thats possible to do SillySith, and in the long run it would also be very annoying to have it to autoshoot it, even in pve it would and defenatly in pvp !

I have a small suggestion.... it would be awesome if you could add a feature choice to automatically refire the Pyro after notification of a hot streak. That would rock!

I'm happy that you will recode it Yheen, because the cool thing about mage alert is that its the 3 vital procs from the 3 mage specs! its plain and simple dosent give you alerts on a lot of things like "trinkets" which can be disturbing in heavy fights :>

Even though this is no longer under development, it's still the best alert system for mages. Proculas is horribly broken as of patch 3.1.1 - if fails to announce alerts, and you can't specify sounds. MageAlert still works fine though!

Use Proculas

there is a option to use own sounds. add there magealert sound

sry but proculas is more amazing you can use it for different procs
warlock, DK, warri, trinkets most of class & item procs are supportet ......
