A smart and simple buff notification addon-on. When u gain Hot Streak, Brain Freeze & MissleBarrage proc, displays a flashing fullscreen-effect and plays a sound

Never miss the instant pyroblast, fireball or Missle Barrage

Displays Arcanblast debuff as Combo Points (Rogue or Cat like) [Only in v1.3 alpha]

Commands:

/magealert - commandlist

/magealert flash on/off" - disable/enable flashing fullscreen effect

/magealert sound on/off" - disable/enable sound notification

/magealert fofsound on/off" - disable/enable Fingers of Frost sound notification

Support for all locations in current release !

Only sheeps are prettier!

Needs just some customization options and a GUI (which I understand is all on the way). Otherwise it's a really useful add on and a must for mages using hot streak. With a GUI and customization options will be a 5 star mod.

I have noticed that the flash for fof was kind of red, and the flash for brain freeze is kind of blue... I don't know but I would have done the contrary. Or perhaps there is a reason for this ?

Is there any option you could possibly add different sounds to choose from?
The bomb thing is really annoying as it's quite long indeed.
As a mage I wanna fire off my instant pyro as soon as possible and I want a quick sound that informs me about the proc and nothing else. Plain and simple.
No bomb thing that takes 5 seconds to play etc. Is there a possibility you could include that? If you could, I'd definitely install the addon again =)
Actually I'm quite fine with the normal sounds...the only annoying thing is, when there are 4 mages in your raid or so, you constantly hear that noise and never know wheter it's your own proc or someone else's.

i cant get magealert to save the settings, i like it with the sound off but if i turn it off and restart wow the settings are back to default.

But the thing that made me unistall the addon, everytime something procs theres a total freez of the screen for half a sec, and its not due to my system lagging in performance (Q6600 clocked to 3.2, 4x1 GB ram and a GTX 280)

If those things were fixed i would definitely install it again.

Honest I have to agree with this poster. The second freezes are really annoying and my system can handle pretty much anything you can throw at it. I am using 1.0b and this has been an issue with the sound lagging or freezing the game all the time. I really love this UI but honestly this has to be fixed. I know many have complained about this issue and really should be the #1 issue to address right now.

Not sure there a option now but i would like if posible to have a volume option cause when Hot Streaks come out and bomb sound its so loud.. there a way to lower that sound

Should MageAler.Fofsound be changed to MageAlert.Fofsound?
