GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Mine's only tracking mining nodes, not herbalism nodes for some reason. Everything's enabled in options the same, but nada :/
For some reason it doesn't save mining nodes location, with herbs is everything fine.
Isn't working for me, /gathermate = unknow command
Can't find it in Interface tab too.
Solved. Reinstalled (just in case) and installed Ace3 as well (I think it was missing).
Hey. With Gathermate_Sharing installed, will the addon only sync nodes people disover after installation or will it also add nodes people already have?
The text is a little unclear.
is there a way to have it add nodes I find with characters that aren't specced for mining or herbing?
There used to be - this is a bug i reported earlier this morning with the patch.

Hopefully coming soon.
doesn't work for me, no fishing showing up on the map!
Self collected and gathermate2_data imported nodes are working here,
Maybe check these view settings:
* Game menu - interface - Addons - Gathermate 2 - Show fishing nodes = Always show (or only while tracking).
If you set Show fishing nodes = only while tracking, then you need to turn on track fish from the (spyglass) Tracking menu on the map (assuming you have the skill).
There are also global view toggles under the minimap menu:
* Game menu - interface - Addons - Gathermate 2 - Minimap - Show Minimap Icons = True
If you are talking about imported data exclusively, then you need to perform the actual import operation:
* Game menu - interface - Addons - Gathermate 2 - Import - Import Gathermate2Data button.
Hopefully this helps you out.
I found a fix for Archaeology nodes!
Delve into your addons folder (ie, World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\Gathermate2. Find the file Constants.lua, and open it in Notepad (or equivalent).
Find 616 and you'll find a line that looks like this:
[NL["Ogre Archaeology Find"]] = 616,
Right below that add this line:
[NL["Demonic Archaeology Find"]] =617,
Now find 616 again. You should find a line that looks like this:
[616] = icon_path.."Archaeology\\shovel.tga",
Now simply copy that line and paste it below, changing the 616 to 617. Save and close the file. Open the Addons menu in WoW, and select Reload UI, or enter /console reloadui in your chat box.
Hope this helps!
While that adds Demonic, you also need to add Highborne and Highmountain Tauren to complete the trio of new Archaeology fragments! ;)
I would strongly advise you not to use numbers that would clash with any that may be added as part of an update or you will end up having to clean your database file by hand to remove any misnumbered nodes.
I too have been adding nodes ahead of the official releases with great success. I would suggest you use 4 digit numbers instead of 3 digit numbers, it makes the data much easier to merge by using a text editor's find and replace functionality when the addon is updated by the author.
I have imported all the legion archy and mana nodes this way. Still waiting for wowdb/wowhead to release herb/mine object data to import this too,
PS. Are you also updating your locales file to match?
A patch has been submitted to the author for approval.

Odd that this is updated, but the "data" addon has not. Are they still collecting nodes? I would think by now they would have plenty to update the "data".
Not working with Legion nodes of any kind. I've imported the data from Gathermate2_Data but it's a no go, and i just installed the addon.
The GatherMate2_Data addon does not contain any Legion data, sadly it hasn't actually been updated since December 2015! It should, however, still add any new nodes you find and harvest, even in Legion content. Could you clarify what isn't working with Legion nodes for you?
The reason for that is that neither WoWHead, nor WoWDb, seem to be tracking locations for the herb or mining spawns in Legion yet - at least not when I looked last week.
Without any public data being available, there is also no data that GM2 could provide as of now.
You can however just start gathering and all nodes it finds, it'll remember and show!
Hey I have an issue on installing/updating gathermate2 after I click install it stops at unzipping and then it says Profile error how can I fix this issue please help.
