GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Greetings, I'm posting this cause i found some problem whenever i tried to add some Legion herb node to my Database. So i found the problem into the localization, to be more accurate into the translation of Herbalism herb into Italian. So i updated the most of IT file: Link Removed: http://www.mediafire.com/download/d4d4kc7zzl34t4e/GatherMate2-itIT.lua
This should work for Herbalism and Mining (Even the Ancient Mana should be tracked) in Legion. I'll end with the Update soon.
PS: Whom find some problem like "Addons doesn't show the Herb on the minimap even if i gatherd it right now" for fix it just open the Locals wich matches with your client language and look for the English version of gathered items and just translate it.

hello, you can add in Portuguese also to appear on the map?
these two plants is not shown after I find...
Starligh rose >> ( Rosa-da-luz-estelar)
Foxflower >> ( Flor-de-raposa)
I'd suggest you to register/login in wowace and fill the un-translated stuff.

Isn't adding archeology discovers.
IDK about other profs.
Same for me, can't make it to show archaeology nodes. In the minimap filters there's no option to select the new legion projects
Still doesn't work after the update !
me pone que gathermate2_data no esta actualizado
@Nevcairiel I uploaded the ZH-CN locales for the nodes in legion expansion through the localization system
Original translator is Hillman_Q@NGA http://bbs.nga.cn/read.php?tid=9904194&_ff=200
Hope for a quick patch
Does this work for Ancient Mana nodes for Suramar? I don't see it listed in the top description.
The next version (to be released soon) will track various ancient mana nodes as part of the "Treasure" tracker.
Any chance there will be a fix for Archaeology tracking for legion with the new version?
i dont know why it doesn't work for me. I've installed addon + gathermate2_data. I've imported data but i dont see nodes in map and minimap (i use Mapster as addon map).
edit: ok now work. After i take first mining node, i re-import data and all nodes appears in the map
I had the same issue when I dled both today.
The current _data is not going to work for legion. If you actually look at the update date and current supported version, it hasn't been updated in 9months. Thats why the _data file isn't displaying anything for you
The reason for that is that neither WoWHead, nor WoWDb, seem to be tracking locations for the herb or mining spawns in Legion yet - at least not when I looked last week.
Without any public data being available, there is also no data that GM2 could provide as of now.
You can however just start gathering and all nodes it finds, it'll remember and show
Nevcairiel is there any chance people could send you their colected data so you could merge database and use that?
This is because there are no Object IDs for the new nodes. Not sure why blizz decided to go this route, but it makes it at least difficult for wowhead/wowdb to track. Although, GM2 seems to be tracking them just fine, so maybe we should just be able to send our files to you to merge? I know I personally have a ton of herb/mining/fish nodes, I'm sure others do as well.
I've started a thread over there for people to consolidate their own collected data:
