GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Update GatherMate2_Data?
Hoping for some help. For some reason today on 1 of my toons, no mining nodes are showing. On my others they do. I haven't changed any settings and it happens on both my pc and laptop. All the settings seem the same. Any ideas please?
For those who play on the Russian client. Due to the fact that the names of many ores and herbs from the new add-on are not written in the English-to-Russian localization files, the game cannot put a mark on the collected ore. I don't know why half a year has already passed since the release of War Visin, and the developers cannot localize their add-on
Still not woking in expansion.
Not even importing Data can show nodes on minimap.
The problem only occurs in pt-br version of the game
Addon works in war within but I guess there are no specific icons for minimap yet? they all show up as the same one
In reply to swiftpwns: how did you get it to work, mine wont import any data in TWW
In reply to TastyDactyl:
They didn't say anything about importing. The addon works in that it displays nodes that you discover by gathering them.
Tracking minerals doesn't work for expansion. Tried multiple times reinstalling and clearing database of mining nodes. Made sure all tracking options are checked for mining. So far only my fishing nodes are tracking.
GatherMate 2 Options Doesn't work, I can't put track only when I track herbs or minerals or excavation.
How come when I mine stuff in TWW beta, it doesn't get added to my data map? I really want to scout out stuff before the release.
Ok so maybe I'm stupid. what does it mean by Only When Tracking, and how do i track specifics? What i mean is that i change the option on mining to Only When Tracking. Then i go to Filters and set it to Serevite Deposits. ALL the node circles disappear, even the Serevite circles and nodes. What am i doing wrong?
Whatever happened to tracking lumber nodes in Draenor? Was that "pruned" ? The entry does not appear to be in the filter lists anywhere.
Why didn't Curseforge show me there was an update to this? I had to come here and download it manually?
So with cata i got problems when importing the Archaeology gets imported but some of the nodes are not in the right place, and when I try to import with retail data its also messed up
Some examples https://imgur.com/a/xIhhkWL
For cataclysm will you please be adding a section for archaeology soon?
*edit: the option is showing in the addon now! Amazing thank you! Unfortunately, none of the onesI find add to the map
In reply to Restomagus:
This, please
Hello GatherMate Team,
my question is when will an update come for the GatherMate2 Classic?
This was working for SOD now it isnt. What happened?
Is the GatherMate2_Data addon getting an update? It is missing most of the data for Dragonflight, especially from the expansion's content updates.
Has the addon been dropped by the developers?
