Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

IIRC "tench" means "temporary enchant" - Think poisons and wizard oil

ok i have a question your add on is awesome but i was wondering if i can make it so that it will automatically show all buffs i get and any buffs i don't want i can black list it i got it to hide the buff's i don't want but i want it to automatically show any new buffs instead of having to check any new "unseen" buffs yet

Is there anything in the works for a custom number format? Like 0:00.0 or something to match other mods. I been a long time follower of ebb and would love to see it

Is there a way to turn off "Blessing of Demonstration" if I have a group with an ancor ON and no active de/buffs? I DO want to see the titlebar, but if there's no actual de/buffs I don't want to see a fake de/buff?

2nd paragraph in the description above says:

Just play around with the layout settings :)
- disable the statusbar
- disable topright text
- set topleft text to TIMELEFT
- shrink the width a bit

Hey, i was just wondering if there was a way to set it up so that my buffs go horizontal, or side to side..

All that im able to see is "Grow Up"

There is curently no way to have them align horizontal. It's planned for the next major version but that is far beyond the horizon:/

Hello, I'm having a hard time getting Heroism to show up on my buff group.

Settings:
Filter -> Type -> Buff
Self cast buffs -> Whitelist
Timeless buffs -> No filter
And I have "Heroism" check in buffs

Any help would be appreciated. All my other checked buffs show up. Actually, Embrace of the Spider was having the same problem but it eventually started showing up.

Is there a way to remove the tracking bar? I've looked through most/all of the options and can't seem to find it. Perhaps its another addon thats making it be placed there. I'm thinking it may be Simple mini map.

Check the filters for the first bargroup. It should list BUFFS and TRACKING. Deselect the later. You'll then most likely also want to disable hiding of the minimap tracking button which can also be done in the config dropdown.

DK presences aren't buffs. That's why they aren't listed on EBB. Same with Warrior stances.

quick question, i just reinstalled EBB and noticed on my DK that the presence arnt showing up? been trying to figuer out wy and such, maybe i missed a post somewhere.

is there anything i can do to make it show up?
(sorry if this was asked before am looking for it.)

create a new bargroup and set its target to TARGET (instead of PLAYER).

i have seen the add on from a friend of mine and wanted to check, i downloaded it but i didnt check it out yet but while im browsing ur comments section that i can see a great author who takes care of his users ideas and comments well. i really congratulate u about this ^^

Does the buff bar show mount buffs? like when doing daily's like Thrusting Hodir's Spear, does it show the grip counter?
