Getting Started
When you first login with this AddOn you will see a black transparent rectangle with a blue bar labeled 'Default', called the encounter pane, in the center of your screen. Shift+Click on it to move it. From left to right you will see:
- Stop Icon: Halts the current encounter (you should rarely have to do this)
- Menu Icon: Opens the configuration dialog
- Lock Icon: Toggles frame anchors
- Windows Icon: Opens a drop down menu to show interface windows
Also, if you ever hide the pane and can't get it to show, type /dxe to open the configuration dialog. There is also a minimap icon.

Localizations
Please visit the localization page to translate in-game phrases. It is open to anyone with an account. The most important phrases are the chat triggers for bosses, because they start encounters. However, not all encounters are started by chat triggers. The rest of the phrases are for display purposes. The following languages need a maintainer:

I have a problem with the Timers since a few weeks, nothing starts after the beginning of the Fight - only the Bosshealth in the Encounter Pane works then. After a few Interface-relogs it does work, but this is a bit tricky because i see only after the beginning of the fight if it's ok or not. I'm using SharedMedia with some own Audio Files and i'm the only one in the raid using DXE, could there be some issues?
Same is happening to me, with disconnection on Lich King. Turned of DXE and the disconnection stopped
I was wondering if it would be possible to have DXE use the arrow system on Council to point twords where kentic bombs spawn. Becuase at times it can be a pain in the ass spinning the camera around and around and accidently miss one?
Love this Boss Mod. Switched from DBM. Couple things I miss though, Raid Warnings for some bosses are handy and haven't seen a way to turn them in in DXE (i.e. Raid warning for who is getting iceblocked on Sindragosa)
One issue I found last night though was during the switch in P3 on Sindragosa I would DC every time, also on LK after the first transition when the defile starts I would also DC. Once I turned DXE off I stopped DCing. Any ideas?
So to restate, is there any way we could be seeing clickable/battleground/generalPVP functionality?
Question I hope someone can answer. What sound portion of the general interface is DXE's alerts tied to, if any? That is to say, which checkboxes in the "sounds" section of the general "hit escape to bring it up" sound panel do I need enabled in order to hear the sound warnings that are generated by DXE. No, just make sure people who are promoted have turned off their announcements but even then, they *should* be the same. My raid had Bigwig, DBM and DXE users and it's all fine.
I did however notice something rather significant which I'm not sure if it effects only heroic 10 but basically when defile is being cast upon you there is absolutely no warning be it audio or visually. When I am looking at grid constantly this can be a bit of a pain. I always make it out of the raid sure but the position is never ideal.
It's great that it shows cooldowns of abilities but, the castbars are mixed in. I enabled warning bars so could there be the option to move bar types between area's when they're triggered? Specifically casts.
So for example, when cooldowns are <5 seconds or whatever I have it set to they go from the top area to middle, but then I could have cast abilites go to warning when they fire. Just to make them more visible.
I've heard great things about this boss mod. I currently use DBM as does the rest of my guild.
I am wondering if anyone has used this while the rest of the raid uses something else and If so does it cause any issues? SInce I raid lead eveyone goes by my warnings with thier own timers up. Just don't want to cause any confusion while I test this out.
atm i use dxe and dbm, but i wish to only use dxe. my favourite encouter addon

I love this addon, is way better then DBM but could these little annoying bugs be fixed? It makes it kinda useless in some fights
I love your mod above all other Boss Mods. That being said, I was wondering if you could incorporate Vengeful Shades into DXE as, perhaps, an auxiliary/optional warning. When the Vengeful Shades "SWING_DAMAGE" or "SWING_MISSED" on a player, it corresponds with a "fail" (proximity) which results in their SPELL_DAMAGE effect.

The old raging spirit timer is no longer possible anymore.
the old raging spirit timer was way better..especially for tanks
