Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Decursive is dedicated to the memory of Bertrand Sense known as Glorfindal on the European server Les Sentinelles. He was the raid leader of my guild (Horizon)

I thought I looked everywhere to disable the raid/party announce, but I can't seem to find it.
I get kick threats if I dont turn off my announce, ppl don't like to be spammed when I cure :(
Is this option avalable, and where do I change it? Thanks!
Decursive doesn't have any anounce feature. This is comes from another of your add-ons...
how to move it around my screen???????
alt left click the handle above the first micro-unit frame (it should be written in the chat when you log-in). I think it's also written at the top of the MUF option panel.
Take also a look at the FAQ (link at the top of the above description)
So I just installed decursive for the first time ever (since my guild wants me to go holy this xpac) and... I can't move the frame. I see no option to lock/unlock it in teh config menu, and google searching gives me threads from 2009-2010, and their information doesn't seem to work (ctrl+right click).
Is it a bug, or am I missing something?
There is a FAQ link at the top of the description above that answers your question: http://www.wowace.com/addons/decursive/pages/main/faq/
I know this might sound odd but I was wondering if in your dedication to the mod you could add mention of the original mod author Quutar of Earthen Ring (US). He passed away summer of 2011. I know he released the mod into the wild and never really wanted to claim much of it after he was tired of maintaining it (People were actually logging onto our server just to whisper him about the mod) but it's his lasting legacy to the WoW Addon Community and it would be nice to see this honored. If you need confirmation that he's the author I'm sure there will be others to agree with me. I think I might even still have some of the original code on a spare hard drive somewhere. It would be nice for his daughter to look at this one day when she's older and know that her dad did something like this. That's all. Thanks.
Ah, here's when he got the idea for it if you doubt me: http://quu.livejournal.com/520653.html and here is when he started it: http://quu.livejournal.com/530963.html
I am fully aware of that, I took over Decursive's developpment right after him and if you look at the source code, you'll see that Quutar (Patrick Bohnet) is mentioned at the top of every source file.
Also the 2.7.2.x release serie (2011-09-24 till 2013-09-11) was dedicated to his memory:

I've added a more visible mention in the credits section of the About tab:

(This will be included in futur versions)
Thanks. I was just reading the description above. I really appreciate it!
Sometimes Decursive displays the time left as a very large negative number (such as -716878463). I find it distracting and I'm wondering if it's a bug? I think maybe it does this when it displays debuffs without a duration maybe? Could you make it just display no numbers at all in that case?
This is clearly a bug. I'll look into it. Do you have an example of a debuff with which it happens?
I can't remember exact details, but one of the debuffs that caused this problem was the one applied by the mobs right before Kyrak boss in UBRS. Possibly this mob, if not then it's one of the ones in the same room...
http://wod.wowhead.com/npc=76100
This is the debuff causing the problem in UBRS. I think these are the correct links, as they seems to only be in patch 6.0+
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155504
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=155505
Not sure why there is two links for one spell. I have seen this problem in the past with other debuffs too, but I can't recall which ones caused it. Anyway, hope this helps.
Yet according to wowhead those have a fixed duration. Anyway, the only way this could happen is if a debuff has an "infinite" duration. So I've released a new alpha with that in mind:
http://www.2072productions.com/to/decursive_dev
Tell me if that fixes the problem
Yep, that seems to have fixed it. Thanks!
@Sinnin
Yes there is a simple way to stop the display of those messages, it consists in updating, replacing or removing the add-ons that are no longer working and causing mayhem ;-)
You can also remove Decursive to hide the dust under the carpet and keep it there.
Note that this message is not displayed just to annoy people but because there is a REAL problem that needs addressing...
I was wondering if there's a way to stop decursive from telling me that I'm having so and so LUA errors. having that message pop up in my chat every 3 mins is a little tiresome. as they do not actually cause me any issue when i play. I think bugbag just catches them all. <,<

Moreover the purpose of Bugsack is not to catch errors and keep them hidden (WoW already does this by default very well) but to help you report the errors to the add-ons' authors so they have a chance to fix them.
This is not a proper reply because like the OP stated these mods work fine and do not degrade the game like your addon likes to suggest. I also find it annoying your mod spamming all the time my game is causing problems etc etc. Some of the mods I use do not have updates but they still function all the same and the game plays just fine. By forcing your mod to fire off its own error to report other errors is not only uncessary it is intrusive and should be an option not mandatory. This issue has been mentioned off and on in the past and your answer is always the same. Stop using my mod or update the other ones which obviously is not always a possibility.
