Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Decursive is dedicated to the memory of Bertrand Sense known as Glorfindal on the European server Les Sentinelles. He was the raid leader of my guild (Horizon)

I've been having a problem when using my Druid that it'll only dispel whichever I have as Priorty 1, and ignore the 2nd.
ie: If I have priorities set Poison 1st, Curses 2nd - it'll only Clean Poisons and ignore Curses altogether
reverse situation is also true, if I have Curses 1st and Poisons 2nd, it'll only remove Curses and I'll have to manually remove Poisons
Any ideas to fix that?
You have to use the right button of your mouse to cure the sepll in secon priority, this is written in a tooltip when you mouse over the MUFs (the little squares)
No way to do it with the macro settings?.. I don't use the MUFs since they just clutter my screen too much
you have to use a modifier if you want o use the macro, (ctrl, shift or alt) look at the macro to see which to use
got it, it was Ctrl.. thanks =)
Hello,
I have a small question. How do I use Decursive to Purge, as a Shaman ? I would like to use the MUFs and the <Key>+<Click> combo to do that. But there's no MUF for enemy targets. I have to focus them to be able to do that. Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I can't figure it out lol. Easy example: many ogres in the Barrier Hills above Shattrath have a Lightning Shield that can be Purged.
You can use Decursive's mouse-over macro to do that, you just have to mouse over the enemy or a unit frame representing him and hit the key you assigned to Decursive's macro (with a modifier, maybe ctrl in your case, it should be the same modifier that the one you use when clicking the MUFs).
This macro is the only way because there is no way to create unit frames for enemies (except for your target and your focus)
Thanks for the reply.
Hello.
I love this addon, but I can't find one thing which would be very handy for me: reversing the MUFs horizontally, so I would be on the right side and then the others starting from right to left.
So if you would find enough time to implement this feature I would be totally filled with joy.
Anyway thank you for making such a great addon.
I'll take a look when I'll have time, it shouldn't be difficult to do but there are 2 ways to do it, one that will maintain MUF order from left to right and the other that would order them from right to left...
I've looked at all the options and can't seem to find a way to hide the mini map button, any suggestions?
You have a menu called "FuBar Menu" and in it: "Hide plugin" this will hide the button but let Decursive running.
Iøm only interested in using the MUFs, as they handle my need just fine, however, 2 things I'm slightly peeved at:
Spam from addon telling me to try the macro. I'm not interested in trying it, thank you, so could you please stop spamming me with an advertise for it?
Layout of MUFs. Would be lovely to be able to change the layout to a more standard 5 per wor/colloumn way of showing with pets at the end, and even set an option to show the first 3-4 letters of the name in the box. Scaling could always allow me to fix any reading problems.
These 2 things actually made me take a look at other addons as I am getting a bit tired of feeling annoyed by them, but I haven't found another addon yet that performs as well for me as the MUFs left/right clicking interface. I tried Click2Cast and Grid, and while Grid looks better (especially with the icons), Grid by itself lacked the right/left clikc thing I actually want from MUFs,and using Click2Cast made it affect everything, messing up my usage of my normal raidwindows.
Did you ever look at Decursive options?
- Under the 'Macro Options' you can disable the no key warning message.
- In the MUF options you can choose the number of MUF to display per row.
As for te first letters of the name in the MUF, I don't think it'll be implemented since it contradicts the way Decursive 2.0 was designed.
You have to customize your priority list and put in the first postions the players/classes you want to dispel in priority (pet are always at the end)... if you do this, you won't have to read their names and lost precious time deciding if you need to cure that player or not.
yeah found the 'hide spam function' now. Dunno why I couldn't see it before.
Anyways, just ordering decursive to show in rows of 5 won'twork, because of pets. Basicly I want to be able to quickly identify a target in the MUFs. right now I've removed transparency totally, yet I still feel like I'm groping in the blind as regarding to whom I'm actually dispelling, rather than being able to see at a glance in the MUFs which of my raid members it is that have the debuffs.
As it stands now, I see debuffs, and just blindly removes them. The indicators currently in place are just not visible enough for me to indicate precisely which targets it is I am curing/cleansing/polymorphing/whatever-the-right-or-left-button-have-been-set-to-do.
As for loosing precious time when reading... I'm a fast reader, and a couple of letters are usually more often seen as an easy comprehensible symbol, than something you actually sit down and decode as letters into words.
Why don't you use the priority list to put all your favorite raid members at the top? Normally there is a tool-tip that indicates the name and afflictions corresponding to each MUF when you mouse over them (there is an option to disable it though).
Hey. I was just wondering... I get a secound playertab up, with health, mana, exp etc, like the playertab we all have, but it's almost at the middle of the screen, and realy annoying.. it comes when i press ctrl+middle botton (well.. not sure if that is the shortcut...) on the remove curse/poison (druid), how ever.. i can't find out how to remove that playertab.. anyone know?
Decursive dosen't create such player tab, CTRL+MIDLLE CLICK just set your focus target (like the /focus command) So it must be another add-on...
Decursive isn't remembering curing options per-character. I log onto my druid, clean install of decursive. Curing order is curse, then poison, then charm. I log onto my mage, curing order is curse, then charm. I log back onto my druid and curing order is now curse, then charm, then poison - poison & charm changed positions.
I know I can "fix" this with profiles, but I don't want separate profiles, as all of my configuration is the same between characters - except for curing options. Which should be set up per class.
