Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Posted Jan 2, 2013Well... that.
No offense but shouldn't this addon do this?
Decursive is a cleansing mod intended to make affliction removal easy, effective and fun for all the classes having this ability.
It's not fun to know over and over again about the known issues about some other addon that I intend to use even if there are errors. I just want to decurse decursive messages about other addon's curses!

Posted Dec 19, 2012How can I make it shut up about the interface errors?
I'm not using an english client so Lib Bable will always throw localization errors all the time. They are not really errors, they are missing string which fall back to the english ones. Could you please make an option (or point me if there's one already) to shut it about interface erors? It's so annoying and in my case they aren't real errors...
Thank you in advance :)

Posted Dec 19, 2012The fact that missing localization is triggering Lua errors isn't normal nor acceptable. You should contact the authors of such add-ons and ask them to do their job properly or use other add-ons to replace them (localization handling is probably not the only thing halfly done in such add-ons...).
Decursive doesn't triggers Lua errors when some of its string are not localized, such strings are silently replaced by the English strings/
Now if you specifically speak about the Bable libraries, the answer may not satisfy you but the BEST way to fix these errors is to fix the localization yourself (there is a nifty user interface to allow anyone to contribute):
example for libbabble-inventory-3-0 : http://www.wowace.com/addons/libbabble-inventory-3-0/localization/
(bable libs packages are generated automaticaly every week)

Posted Dec 19, 2012I don't think he means the interface errors Decursive is generating, but there are known errors in WoW's base UI that will trigger like 17 errors and Decursive pops up a message saying something to the effect of: "there have been a bunch of lua errors and it could be impacting your performance, please check your mods"
These errors are generated by mods seemingly at random (it's a problem with the compact raid frames) and I KNOW about them, but I don't need Decursive telling me about it (already have a mod that does that). It also reminds us not to shoot the messenger, but honestly I'm READY to shoot the messenger since it's a known issue and Decursive WONT SHUT UP about it. The option to disable that notification would be swell.

Posted Dec 20, 2012@wolfchylde: I agree that this message shouldn't be displayed when the errors are happening inside Blizzard UI since there is nothing the user can do about them (except complaining to the wind...).

Posted Dec 20, 2012You can try 2.7.2.4_beta_1-3-g56a45a4 which won't display the message when more than 90% of the errors are tainting accusations or Blizzard UI bugs.

Posted Dec 1, 2012hi,
Try ro reinstall decursive from scratch (just remove its folder in /interface and re-extract the archive). You could also use the Curse Client to do that. Also make sure WoW isn't running while you do that or it'll fail until you restart it.

What is the add-on repoting those errors? (it isn't Decursive's debugger nor Blizzard's apparently)

Posted Oct 29, 2012My decursive works fine on every char but my shadow priest. I doesn't show any dispel magic spells. If I check the options only Magic Charm is marked and all the other ones are greyed out so I cannot mark them.
