ChocolateBar Broker Display

Table of Contents

ChocolateBar will create a bar on top or bottom of your screen where other addons called broker plugins can display stuff like your fps.

Main Features

Easy setup, install & go!
Multiple bars - top or bottom as many as you want.
Left, right and center alignment.
Support for icon colors and coordinates like used by TomTom.
Easy config, simply drag a plugin and drop points will show. The idea is to easily disable a plugin or toggle its text. See pics.
Load-on-demand options, and small memory footprint.
More Chocolate - a broker plugin to show a bar that will autohide again. Great for launchers or other plugins you don't need visible all the time:)

Options for:

Show bars on mouse over only.
Hide bars in combat.
Hide bars during a pet battle.
Set a fixed width for any plugin.
Change textures, font, colors and a lot more...

Was able to grab this 2 errors from this afternoon. They are NOT directly linked with the issue I'm refering to you (as no errors shows when i want to dock the addon) but maybe they can help you. My addons list at the end.

ok thanks a lot, I tracked it down to a problem related to bars with autohide enabled. If you drag a plugin left or right, there is no problem but once you drag it downwards the bar will hide and the plugin will stick to the cursor.

I could not fix this yet so I released a version with disabled drag and drop on bars with autohide. I will try to fix this as soon as I have more time.

In this current version this seems to happen if you have the bars locked and use Alt to drag something around the bar, you can't ever 'release' what you are dragging.

Installed the mod and it seems to be fine but my minimap is crowded now with icons now.
I have these icons on my chocolatebar and the minimap.
How can i get rid of those on the minimap?

that is because the fubar plugins will attach to the minimap if you don't have fubar loaded. One of the thing I hate most about fubar^^
You should be able to right click them and disable them on the minimap.

it would be nice, if there where the posibility to position the chocolates in the center and maybe an option to set up some kind of spacing between the chocolates, so that they don't stick together to much

center positioning is in the latest alpha version r18.
I will add the spacing option in a feature release.

This works very well, and has finally made it possible for me to get rid of Fubar. Very nice work indeed.

However, it seems that the individual elements do not stay put. For example, i like to have money on the upper left corner, but everytime i log in, it moves one slot to the right, and eventually it will end ... well, i usually move it back to the left, so don't know what will happen when it has jumped over all other brokers...

I fixed something that could fix this problem for you.
Try the latest alpha version

If you still get the problem change the profile on your twink's if you play any.

My favorite LDB-display addon :)
I miss only few things for me:

to be able to hidde icon for each piece of chocolate.
to be able to lock the chocolate bar

(I did the two tickets)
I did a "titan" chocolate texture, are you interesting in it?
