Hey, great addon you have here. Having been using it for many months. I was wondering, is there a way I can use the Alt Linking feature. However my guild has the name of the main character in the main character notes. So it looks like this:
Bob/Bob: Hey, I'm gonna log on an alt.
Pete/Bob: I'm on the alt!

So is there an option to remove the Alt Linking if both are the same?

when i log into the game with the bar at the top of the combat log appears and does not disapear until i mouse over it... this only happens when i have chat settings locked in social interface options... i have removed all other addons and the wtf folder so i know it is chatter.

has anyone else noticed this or have a solution? thank you

Ok this just came up today and a guildie was messing with the language for the race (such as Darnassian for the night elfs) and i was wondering if it is in chatter of if u can do something that will enable to do that cuz i really love this addon and everything and i just really hate the blizzard stock one lol if u could do that then it would be awesome if not then its all good =))

Is there at all a way to filter duplicate messages? Trade chat very easily gets overrun by people hitting their "LFM XYZ" macro like six times. It would be awesome for chatter to compare the previous line and not show a line if it's the exact same... or is there something else that i can use with chatter to do this?

i got this addon cause a couple people said it is good and im trying to move the chat box but i can't ive put it on float and its not letting me drag it anywhere or anything like..is there a way that i can fix this?

it is possible without even using any chat addon. Just right click the General tab that appears when you hover over chat. Now click Unlock Window. Now click and drag the General Chat window to where you want. You can also click and drag the side of the chat window to resize.

is there a way to move the little box where you actually type in the stuff? I want it to be on top of the box, instead of the bottom, i that possible?

it is indeed, go to interface/addons/chatter then click edit box polish, then click on the attach to... box and select free floating, then press enter to bring the box up, and drag it where you want, when you have it where you want change it to free floating, locked, so it doesn't move accidentally.

yes that is possible i did that too. go on "Edit Box Polish" in the addons interface part. And then click the drop down box under "attach to.." or something and select free floating and u can then move it where u want or press "top" or "bottom" :)

No custom keybinds made this addon useless to me, if it had that it would be awesome but without them i cannot use it.

say you are on your alt, can you have your alt say (your mains name)before everything they say in guild chat?

I love Chatter, but have one problem ... when someone links a skill list in chat (like Jewelcrafting) it is not clickable. I've tried both right and left click, with ctrl, opt and alt buttons, without results. I can't find a setting that will let me see the linked info. Help?
