Chatter
Chatter is a comprehensive, lightweight, mega-configurable chat enhancement addon. It supports a whole bunch of stuff, including:
- Hiding buttons
- Custom aliases for channel names
- Coloring of player names by class or deterministic HSV formula, and player levels next to names
- Custom font and font size for your chat frames
- Custom background, border, and positioning for the edit box
- Option to let the edit box border color match the color of the channel you are typing in
- Channel colors remembered by name, rather than by number
- Scrolling your chat frames with the mouse wheel.
- Sticky channels, configurable
- Ability to copy a chat frame's contents to your clipboard
- Ability to copy URLs to your clipboard
- Ability to customize the background and border of your chat frames
- Timestamps
- A /tt command to send a tell to your target
- A module that turns the word "invite" into clickable links that let you invite the speaker.
- Highlights both for custom keywords in specific channels
- Chat fading toggles
- Text justification
- Autologging (Off by default)
- Alt linking
- Much larger and smaller chat frames than default
- A Groupsay (/gr) command to talk to your group, whether that's battleground, raid, or party.
- Chat Tab look-n-feel modifications
- Paging through chat tabs with the scroll wheel
I guess it'd be in the editbox.lua module part.
After resizing the frame, "nudge" the position of it, by dragging it even just a pixel aside and back to your desired location. That seems to trigger the saving of the size again.
My OCD is grateful for that. ;P
Take care

As of right now you have two options:
Use the Interface -> Addons left side panel to navigate the config options.
OR
Instead of "/chatter" try "/chatter config" to go directly to the built in Chatter Config GUI.
I put an option in, so can toggle the tab flashing on and off
Shabazza, sayntavarice. box fixes should be in place.
It seems that all my characters' profiles are exclusive to themselves. I cannot see Toon A's profile from Toon B - thus I cannot use profiles as a quick way to unify my settings for Chatter between characters.
sayntavaric: got it, btu cant test till i get back from work.
i thougt there was functions with shift/alt/strg, to scroll a whole page or to the top/bottom.
Shabazza: ok think i found the issue, but will be a few hours before i can test it work calls.
Hello kagaro,
thanks for yuor reply. I tested a little more. When i check the 'hide tabs' in the modul chat tabs the copy icon disappears. When i uncheck the 'hide tabs' and recheck the copy chat icon option, everything is fine.
