Is there a way to import my mapnotes from Metamap? I have LOTS of data that I really do not want to loose if I start using Cartographer.

I am having a problem with Cartographer running, period. I first noticed the problem yesterday (since there was nothing better to do on Upgrade Day, I spent the morning browsing and downloading addons) upon logging in. When logging in with cartographer running, my Social button (namely the Guild section) keeps popping up, no matter where I am or what I'm doing, about every five seconds or so. It's really making playing anything ingame impossible because it blocks so much of the screen. I'm not technically inclined by any stretch of the imagination, so when I started having this problem, I began by disabling every one of my addons and loading them one by one until I found the Guild tab opening again. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this problem and if there's a fix or another version I can get that doesn't cause this to happen.

Are you sure its related with Cartographer? I really had no idea that Cartographer would interact with the guild tab at all. Have you checked your keybindings and made sure that the guild tab isn't bound to a common key?

Recently downloaded the coords addon ver r55093.1 and I am a A+ PC Tech so I do understand the instuctions given to add the mod. Which I have installed in te program files of WoW. What I am having trouble with is after putting the file into the addon folder. I go into the game as instructed and I do see the "addon" tab after logging into the game and next to the Cartographer File I see "Dependency Missing" and of course the mod does not work. I have checked the box for load out of date mods. Please help me with what I am missing....here is also my PC info just to make sure it is not a problem with my system.... CPU= AMD Athlon XP 1500+ 1.3ghz MMX, 3D Now

What dependency is missing?

If you roll over the mod, it should tell you in a little popup window what dependency is missing.

You may want to get that "A+" cert reupped. xD

It's not a problem with your PC at all :D

Firstly, check to make sure the Ace2 Library is in the Cartographer folder.

Secondly, enable addons such as Stubby and.... something else... I'm not sure what they are. Anyhow, if you don't have them download them. Find out which addons Cartographer needs and install them (enable them too).

Having a problem getting this to work, i've used it in the past but now keep getting a error when 2 other mods are running.
Its having an issue with Bartender3 and Bigwigs the error is Interface\addons\Cartographer\Cartographer.lua:7: Library "Dewdrop-2.0" not found

Wondering if anyone has a fix to this besides getting rid of bartender and bigwigs

Hey there. I'd like to start by saying I know nothing about creating an add-on/mod. You people who make these are truly wonderful & very smart.

Here are the mods I am using lightheaded 139 & 175
cartogpack1.8beta & Cartographer-r55093.1

I am getting errors all over the place. Why? When updating a mod, don't you add all the folders from previous mods & then add the updated files to them?

How can I fix this? Add every version of the mods I am using??

Yes, I do have "show lua errors" enabled. Cartographer was failing to load for me due to some kind of clash with libraries (Ace2 vs Rock).

Yes I agree, it's an ugly hack. But given the lack of support lately by ckknight (is he on vacation or something?) I figured it was acceptable. :-)

I am pretty sure that it is Cartographer that allows me to mark special locations/notes on the map by ctrl- rght click. However, even after I dl'ed the latest version I am still unable to do ths anymore. Any help would be much appreciated.
