Looks like you might have 2 addons running that both give coords.

i'm running all the cartographer addons from wowace updater

I just downloaded Cartographer and it doesn't work. I uninstalled, unzipped, and reinstalled and it still doesn't work... Any ideas?

My cartographer no longer loads. I removed the folder from my addon folder, redownloaded, made sure it was loading in the options menu, but when i start the game, the maps don't load.

Also, when using the LFG feature, i get an error message "Interface action failed because of an AddOn" and the little green eye that should pop up next to the map doesn't. I had all other addons unloaded except cartographer and this happened.

i use gatherer for tracking things for professions and i've never had a problem with it =)

"dependency missing" I get this message after each line after clicking the addons button in the toon selections section. None of the addons work. I tried everything posted below and nothing is fixing it plz help.

EDIT: Sorry I got it figured out, for anyone else with this problem its cause you dident follow the instructions word for word. you have to extract the files not just copy them, after you do that you will end up with a folder called "Cartographer" just copy that folder into the "AddOns" folder and your good to go

Two issues. One aesthetic, one problematic.

1) The aesthetic issue is that I have two sets of coordinates on the map. One is the bright yellow coords, and another is this grayish colored set of coords. The issue is that they overlap making it hard to read the coords.

2) The professions part doesn't seem to work for me, and it was the main reason I downloaded this. I wanted to be able to keep track of every mining vein I came across without manually adding it with map notes every time. Before you ask, yes the professions box is checked in Cartographer options.

Anyone that can help me? Thanks ahead of time.

Is there anyway to set it up to import the MetaMap database with all the npc's / locations ?? Cartographer is great but I miss the MetaMap database (since metamap hasn't been updated since the stone age and has bugs it can't be used well). thanks"

Yes, I would move over to your map addon I think, but I have so much data stored from long time use that it would not be of interest. Is there a way to import the metamap data? My metamap still works fine, except for instances.

After You fix cartographer, I would like to know where to get all the other updated addons? Like, Routes,Questsobjectives, Treasure, Vendor.....etc?

for every module that is loading. Strangely I don't get them with every charakter, but with most of them.

I saw that there's alot you had issues with cartographer. I had faced similiar errors too. I had even try to used back the old version of cartogrpher but still the error occurs.

The last restort I used is to uninstall all the addons (except the defaults ones) and I reload the additionals addons ONE by ONE. Yes!!! I did it one by one.

For me, the culprit is COORDS!!!

Perhaps you can try to delete COORDS and login to WOW to see if your errors still occurs.

No problems here. Great update. Think Marrnos screwed something up and is now blaming the addon.

I had no problems with the r56775.5. Some of the errors that i used to see don't show anymore and a previous problem that I had using Archud and Cartographer is now just a bad dream--with Archud enabled, the Cartographer maps to show.

Marnos, it is always a good idea to keep a backup of the WoW directory for cases like this.

Thus, do not listen to his recemendation, becuase he is only one person that has posted here about this problem. However, I am also only one person that mentioned no problems. So we need more posts to determine if this is a good update or not.

I strongly recommend not even try to install r56775.5.

I got tons of error messages and even after deactivation in Addon menu it nuked other Addons like ZHunter Mod and Perl. After installation of Cartographer, those addons (not ACE-based) showing error messages.

Thanks alot, now I have to reinstall and reconfigure all my important addons.

Worst update ever, since it affects other addons and steals tons of time for recovery.

I get 15 errors as soon as I log in, and when I open the map, it's just the default Blizz map. I don't know why it doesn't see the libraries, because I have them all.

I get many errors when WoW starts up. Most of them I can live with or without. One of the main reasons I used Cartographer was that I could add my own notes, and when I hovered over the icon I created for it I could read them.

I can't do either now. Can't create, can't edit, can't delete... can't even read them. The icons I created before 2.3.0 are still there, but they're nowhere near as useful as they used to be.

I also haven't seen an instance map since 2.3.0
