If you are having trouble loading Cartographer 3.0, don't fret. It took me combining the comments found here and decided to repost how to correct the issue caused by not having LibTourist-3.0 installed. The simplest way is searching for the following three files within Curse client's own search:

LibTourist-3.0
LibSimple-1.0
LibBabble-Zone-3.0

Simply tell Curse to install them and you're done. If you are not using the Curse client to install (which you should be...) those files need to be placed directly into your Interface/AddOns folder.

I can't find LibSimple-1.0 anywhere, including Curse.

hmm i like carthographer 2...but this is awesome, cause of this realmap. coudl you amke cartographer 2, but the zooming with mosuewheel and a realmap? that would be the best addon ever!

There will be problems with the texture maps in the next patch 3.1 because of the ground changes in Northrend... lets hope someone can give this excellent addon some first aid

This is badass addon dude, it's the best map out there in my opinion. I like the free scroll map style, like the click and drag stuff, and the zoom in stuff, that's what i like over the regular Cartographer.
Do you think you could mark Wotlk instances on there? Cause they're marked as little swirls on the Azeroth and Outland maps, but not the Northrend ones, it'd be cool if you could fix that please. Also a Dalaran map would be cool. Thanks dude, great job.

Apparently, this addon has been orphaned. I think it was started to show the owner of Carbonite that maps done in minimap texture could be done for free. Now, Carbonite Quests is free and has the maps.

problem is just that Cart 3.0 is much more detailed the carbonites maps really anoys me that Cart suddenly dont work for me, keeps saying this n that is missing , never had that prob b4, could one get a list of dependencies so i dont have to resart game 14 times to find out only that now nothing works n have to remove evry thing to try figure wth whent wrong..

Great addon

Love the way it looks zoomed in but like the normal cartographer for the rest. It would be great if you could put the graphics of this on your normal cartographer. keep up the good work ;)

Ok using this addon and when i click the little "G" in left bottom corner i can hover and get to the instances/cities and what not but when i click them nothing happens map stays in the zone im in and doesnt do anything. any ideas?

Also another note, I'm missing instance notes, can someone tell me where to get them for this addon?

Ok, I have version 0.10.3 of this and today I found a glitch where these yellow Rings with faded artwork show up and around certain areas of each region, but only happens when I switch characters and I have to exit WoW just to get the Cartographer to reset...which makes the rings disappear.

where you get the lib's?

It's not a problem, it has just been packaged without some of it Libs.
If you go to the Cartographer3 folder in Addons and put LibTourist-3.0 in there as well as LibSimpleOptions-1.0 that worked for me, now runs no errors.
