Cartographer 3.0

Table of Contents

This is a map addon for World of Warcraft that replaces the map and offers shiny features.

The idea is for it to work very much like Google Maps, only in-game.

Cartographer 3.0 is brand new, "experimental" version of Cartographer.

You are correct! What I am really concerned about is what Cart3 will do to my fps which is already fairly bad on an older computer. Thanks for pointing this out :)

First off, let me just say that this mod is absolutely beautiful! It works with QuestHelper, Gatherer, and several other map/explorer mods. Cart3 has become part of my standard set of mods for all my toons. My only issue so far has been the Note module, something about the note pop-up doesn't seem to work right. I'm not sure if it's a conflict with another mod (I haven't been able to fully determine yet) or what, but if you could look into it I would greatly apreciate it.

Hi ckknight, very cool map mod, I'm gonna give it a go as part of my standard addons for a bit. One quick question, MapNotes used to turn up happily as notes on old Cartographer, but don't seem to show up on the new version. Is this something that needs looking into from MapNotes and or is it something that can be made compatible from here?

Just thought I'd ask, would really hate to lose my notes. Ta!

This addon is freakin sweet man. Thanks so much for this. I have been using your regular cartog but this 3.0 is just levels above that one.

Thanks for the update. I've been using the old one for months even though I could never see Dalaran. That leads to my question. Will future patches allow me to see Dalaran city? I think that's the only place that I can't see ATM.

Thank you so much for revisiting this project! I have used Cart & Cart3 since I first started playing WoW. I have great respect and appreciation for both addons, but prefer the resizing, zooming, and mini-map detail in Cart3.

We are lucky to have members in the WoW community that are generous enough to share the fruits of their labours for free. I will be making a donation today.

Props, also, to the users that found fixes these past few months and shared them with the rest of us!

Howdy friends, ckknight here.

I put out a new version for you all, v0.11. It's 3.1.0-compliant and has some nice fixes.

Note: I'm not 100% done, I still want to put in multi-floor support so that I can properly support Dalaran and the Northrend instances (I know, I should've done it a patch ago, but I've been really busy). I hope to have that all done either later today or tomorrow sometime.

So sorry, hrocky101, project's not dead, I just have a real life with responsibilities and taxes (lousy gub'mint) now.
