History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Below is list of custom modules which are developed and maintained by different author teams.

Features

Atlas Integration: You can easily link to Atlas map browser if your current visited instance loot table has a corresponding map provided in Atlas.
Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companions, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.

To Do

Add skill / source to crafting
Wishlist: Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching: Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks: Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.

The issue is NOT with AtlasLoot. AtlasLoot is only mentioned because it has the newest Ace libraries on your PC and one of your other Ace mods doesn't know how to deal with it. It is good practice generally to update as many mods as you can at the same time.

Hi - thanks for maintaining this wonderful, must-have addon.

Small bug report against v5.05.01:

The tier tokens listed on some of the Ulduar loot tables are incorrectly pointing at the wrong version of the token. This leads to confusion when searching and bookmarking specific tokens.

Specific errors I've noticed:

Yogg-25 lists "spaulders of the wayward ...",
should be "mantle of the wayward ..."

Yogg-10 lists "breastplate of the wayward ..."
should be "chestguard of the wayward ..."

Yes, I was just going to report this myself. The Yogg-25 Spaulders vs. Mantle thing created a little confusion with my wishlist until I realized what was going on. The Yogg-25 list needs to be changed to Mantles, the 25-man pieces, which currently aren't found in the mod at all. The Yogg-10 list shows 2/3 of the tokens as the 25-man Breastplates, when all 3 should be the 10-man Chestguards of course.

The AtlasLoot settings should be account wide, I'll check that though. Are you referring to the Atlas window or the AtlasLoot loot browser?

Could you possibly add a feature to : (1) make window scale settings account wide; and (2) retain window scale settings through an upgrade. It's a major pain in the butt to have to reset the window scale on every toon and after every update.

Very minor bug with shoulder drops from Yogg-Saron 25 man. Currently they are labeled "Spaulders of the lost xxxxxxxxx" but should be "Mantle of the lost xxxxxxxx".

Again, not a big issue but something you should know.

Mantle of the Wayward Vanquisher = 45658
Mantle of the Wayward Conqueror = 45656
Mantle of the Wayward Protector = 45657

New Version

Minor update to include more Ulduar loot (including hard mode stuff) as well as a few additions to the options menu allowing a choice of skins for the loot browser and a choice in how crafted items behave.

Extract it. Seriously.

Mac OS X has an unarchiver built into the OS since 10.4 and should open the file automatically if you're using Safari. You don't need StuffIt Expander.

If you do a manual download, just copy the contents of the AtlasLoot-v5 folder extracted from the ZIP file (7 folders altogether) into your WoW/Interface/AddOns folder. Alternatively, you can just use the Curse Client for Mac and have it install it for you.

@Holycry: well there's nothing wrong with the archive. I just tested it again with my Mac to make sure there was no corrupt file or anything odd with the handoff. As Wrahil said, use Manual Download and the browser (I use Safari) will un-zip the archive as soon as it's done, leaving the parent folder in Downloads.

Inside that folder (which appears to be called "AtlasLoot-v5" btw) are the ones that need to be dragged to the Addons folder so if you're seeing it download but it never shows up in the game that could be where it's going wrong, etc. Anyway good luck.

I can't install this on my Mac, I have Mac OS X 10.5 Can anyone help with this, and don't say extract it, because Macs don't have that, and that Stuffit thing is BS because you need to give it a credit card.

Is there a way to add a function to look up items that drop from multiple sources? I find myself always going to wowhead to find who drops what, at what percent. It would be nice to have a feature built in to do this as well.

The Webbed Death dagger isn't in the loottable of Anub'Rekhan, but he actually drops the dagger in the heroic version of Naxxramas, http://thottbot.com/i39714#Linking

Has anyone else had this issue: Every time I type something in the search box and hit enter (whether its something I know is in there, or something im not so sure of), my game Crashes and I get the critical error message. If so, is there any way to fix this? I dont want to copy and paste the critical msg details yet, because those posts are always so huge. But I will if needed. Any help would be great. I used to use the search function a lot but cant now...its a bit frustrating.
