Posted Feb 16, 2017Seem to be having an issue with this addon. If I have history on anyone that I have chatted to, it won't open up the popup box or show my whispers to that person until I delete their history.
Example, I fresh installed this addon and then whispered a friend. Had a fine conversation, but when I closed the box, I couldn't whisper them again. The box won't appear and my whispers don't show up in regular chat either.
When I go to history, it doesn't load anything. The loading bar is stuck and won't load the history of the conversation we just had. I have to close it, then delete their history, and THEN I can start whispering them again. But as soon as I close the box again, I have to do that all over again.
The history seems to break whispers, as it just won't load at all.

Posted Dec 19, 2016I'd tag a new version but to be honest I just don't know how with new site. Tag repository was removed in site changeover and I can't find any documentation on how to tag a file. I suppose i could just edit an alpha version and set the alpha file to "release"
EDIT, that's what I did. I just edited alpha to be type = release and renamed it.

I'm using TipTac myself and haven't encountered that behavior. When mouseovering a link in my WIM window, the tooltip shows up at my cursor position just fine.
Does the problem exists with only TipTac and WIM enabled?
If it does, please upload your TipTac config.

Hey, thanks for responding! I think the photo is not truly clear as to what the issue was (and I didn't really explain it) - When I hover over links in my WIM window the link shows but it is in a reallllly long window (the picture I put in my first post). I'll check my TipTac addon to make sure there is no conflict there. Other than that I am not sure what to do, it doesn't happen for links in my chatbox.

Posted Nov 13, 2016@wanho0p Open the configuration via /wim and go to Fonts
Uncheck Use font suggested by skin
Choose a font that can display ruRu.
as suggested here
@iinferno2010 Looks like a malfunction of your Tooltip AddOn.
The Tooltip should be at your cursor position when mouseovering an itemlink.

Like a lot of players I have used this addon for a crazy number of years. This addon has made managing raids so much easier. Thanks for everything you did for the WoW community and I'm sorry the end was so sour with a bunch of assholes.

Posted Nov 10, 2016I appreciate all the work you've done with this and with DBM. Sure I'd love to see this addon working better again, but I understand time constraints, and I'm just happy to have it in some kind of working manner. To those people complaining or being explicitly rude about it, the option is always there to look at the source code and figure it out for themselves. If they think you're being lazy, surely they can just whip up a fully functioning fix in no time, right? The offers to help are piling in, are they? I wish I could, I'm just terrible with code. I'm happy that there are people out there good enough to make things like this happen. Hopefully you've gotten more positive feedback than negative. :)

Posted Nov 9, 2016This is a fine example of something that could be fixed with a LOT less frustration with a little bit of support from Blizzard, rather than them just changing their API around willy nilly and expecting us addon developers to just "deal with it".
Good luck, though...
