sRaidFrames

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

sRaidFrames was originally designed to replace the raid frames provided by CT_RaidAssist. They share the same look and feel of the original frames, but are highly optimized and even include extra features such as aggro highlighting and display of PVE critical abilities.

Sadly, the way blizzard handles Party Frames and Raid Frames is quite different. We might do it one day, but it isn't planned in the near future.

Is there a way you can make raid icons show on your raid frames? I Kinda need this for some bosses. Where some boss mods sets icons on like 5 people and the healers have to heal those 5 targets. but not randomly. So i get "moon" to heal, is there a way to make them seen in my sraidframes?

The new release (r670) has about one week of testing behind it without showing any issues. It should have the stability you expect from this addon.

Okay guys, a new stable release is out.
This includes a whole bunch of features, including a partial revamp of the options interface and displaying Raid Targets on the raid frames.

Nice to see the 'my buffs only' feature working again. The memory usage however has increased significantly. Would it be possible to make those raid targets a bit easier to spot? Something like showing the actual icon instead of a small text? And last but not least: Is that refresh fix of health values (sRaidframes_PredictedHealth) included or is that extra addon still needed? :)

you can get sRaidFrames to color the unit background of the unit that has a specific mark in that mark's color, just check "Background" in the "GUI Elements" box.

Jetty: As seulaslitan said, you can adjust how Raid Targets are displayed on the frames using the Advanced -> Raid Icon: <icon> settings dialog.

As far as I can see, sRaidFrames_PredictedHealth was never imported to the main SRF line.
Thus, I would recommend you install it.

Do you have plans to make debufs with timers, like Blizzard made year or so ago? It's like dark debuf, and it goes lighter clockwise till expires.

Some 25man Trial of Grand Crusade fights highly requires those to be visible. For those important moments i'm looking at Grid2, where they show Blizzard like debufs.

Downloaded r653 and am having the same problem as Andrraxxus had with 661, i get no raid frames, no minimap button, i can type /srf until i enter a raid once ive entered a raid it wont let me press enter after i type /srf and if i try it won't let me use the esc key to bring up the menu, not sure if anyone else is having this issue.

Please test your code, then commit.

Also, mark all files as Alpha, and not all as Beta later. Select which files you want as beta, as you feel they are more stable than the last beta

Do not make releases without proper testing.

Don't rush releases, and don't fuck with the stability of this addon by marking files as Release or even Beta without making 100% sure it works.

Yes, the addon is currently a bit unstable due to huge changes and simply not being able to test every feature before committing.

r658 should be stable right now, I'll change 659-665 to Beta now so that you don't have problems if you auto-update with CC.

Getting the same error here (release: r665) when i press on "buffs" in "Buffs & Debuffs" trying to add buff to show in the raid frame.
