sRaidFrames

Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

sRaidFrames was originally designed to replace the raid frames provided by CT_RaidAssist. They share the same look and feel of the original frames, but are highly optimized and even include extra features such as aggro highlighting and display of PVE critical abilities.

Ahh finally an addon that i like, tried about 15-20 before i found this one. Not too much crap, it got everything i need for healing and easy to set up. Thx Alot

I can't seem to get the option for 40 yard range indicators to come back up. I recall having it before but it won't show in the list anymore.

seems to work great for me, other than the fact i was playing around in a nax25 badge run for friends last night, and me and a few other got booted out of game for a second, upon logging back in, i had no raid frames showing. I had to totally exit the game, then reopen it and log back in for them to show up again

Aggro coloring no longer works, at least for me. I use the borderless layout, and set the aggro indication to the background element, but nothing changes. I have not tried other elements yet.

how can I get this to show only 1 group like when I am in a party.. Or how can I get it to show everyone in bg's

The only way currently is to convert that 1 group into a raid... it only matters if you're questing.

It should show everyone in BG's by default I believe.

Awesome addon! I love using it for raids, though I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so the frames work for regular parties too? I found that I love healing these frames but the old ones are boring. I know that grid has a similar set up. Would be awesome if you could implement this some how.

This was actually what I came here about myself; I was wondering if anyone has a "hack" that allows sRF to always be shown, and not just when in raid? Should be a simple enough change in some .lua file, unless I'm completely off track.

Actually, I should've checked myself before asking, I think I solved it; in sRaidFrames.lua there's a function named "sRaidFrames:UpdateRoster()". In the end of this function there's a paragraph that goes "if not inRaid then self:DisableFrames() end". I can't be sure that's the only change needed as EU servers are down, but I'm guessing that should be it! Will give it a whirl when servers come back up.

Nah, seems more is required. I've been doing some more digging but can't pin down what I've missed yet. I'm fairly certain I've made sure it doesn't disable itself when in regular groups, but I can't seem to figure out how to trigger an enable without going into a raid first.

Anyway, built-in support for using it in regular groups would be welcome!

One thing I'm missing in the buff filtering for sraidframes is the option to show my "class specific" buffs.
Don't want to see all buffs, but only seeing the buffs I did myself is also a bit limited. :)

Can I set it to show more than 2 debuffs at a time? Blizzards own interface shows up to 4.

I've also noticed that the health reporting is a bit slow. It's especially noticeable on fights like Vezax where healing must be reactive. sRaidFrames is still my raid frame of choice, but I wish it were faster.
