About
Cryolysis 2 is sphere mod for mages that automates many common tasks and provides for an easy to use interface for casting spells. Cryolysis 2 provides you with a 10 circular buttons that surround an larger center sphere. The buttons are as follows:
- Food and Water: Allows easy conjuring, trading, and consuming of food and water.
- Mana Gem: Allows easy conjuring and consuming of mana gems.
- Evocation: Dedicated button for using Evocation.
- Mount: Allows easy use of your mounts.
- Teleport and Portal Menu: Organizes and provides easy access to your teleport and portal spells. Each city has it's own button.
- Buff Menu: Organizes your buffs into one easy to use menu. Buff buttons also have reagent counts where applicable.
- Custom Buttons: Three completely customizable buttons that can be assigned to spells, items, or macros.
Cryolysis 2 also comes with a full configuration menu that can be accessed by right-clicking the main center sphere, or by typing /cryo in chat.
Additional features include:
- Funny messages when using your mounts, teleports, portals, and several other spells. These can be toggled on and off as desired.
- Automatic reagent restocking
Past Versions
Cryolysis 2 is now the official release download.
Barring any unforeseen problems, Cryolysis 1 ("Revived", "Reborn", "New Beginning") will no longer be updated/supported. If there is a specific reason(s) you're using Version 1 and need a hot fix to keep it working, you can post here in comments (make sure you note that you are referring to Version 1) or send any member of the team a private message through Curse (list is in the top right corner), and we will try to implement fixes as time permits.

- Configuration Menu
To open the Configuration Menu, right-click the Main-Sphere. If you have hidden the main sphere, you can get a list of of commands by typing "/cryo". - Custom Buttons
Custom buttons can now use either spells, items, or macros. Make sure when setting up the custom buttons that you select the correct type (ie: spell, macro, item) and that you press Enter after typing in the name. If you don't press enter, your changes will not be saved. - Spell Timers
Timers have not been implemented yet. As such, the spell timers option should be turned off in the configuration menu for now. These will be implemented sometime after patch 2.4. - Messages/Speeches
Currently, Short Messages have not been implemented. There are a number of different options to display random messages:- USER: Messages will display for you only. Mildly useless, but the functionality is there.
- WORLD: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that /say.
- GROUP: Messages will display for /raid, bar that /party, bar that it will remain silent. Old Cryo1 Behavior.
- RAID: Messages will display for /raid, bar that it will remain silent.
- PARTY: Messages will display for /party, bar that it will remain silent.
- SAY: Messages will display in /say.
- Localizations
To help localise Cryo2 in your language, download Cryo2 from WoWAce, edit your locale file in the /locales/ and send it to us. Files should be encoded in utf-8.
Other Info
User input is very important, so please post here anything related to the mod's functionality with as much detail as possible. Please only post Cryolysis 2 errors, as the original Cryolysis will no longer be getting updated Thanks.

Poly no timer when it is going to break
Evocation no cast timer or cooldown
Burn over time etc
Is that correct at moment

Posted Nov 19, 2007I had same problem than gilimage until I find that sphere left down corner. You can only see small part of it.
But I still have that problem when I go and put check buttons on messages portals and gems come "out" and don't go back until I reload ui.

Posted Nov 19, 2007I have downloaded and installed Cryolysis after removing Arcanum, which doesn't work with patch 2.3.
Cryolysis is a very fine substitue, I tried out a few previous versions too (which ofcourse I removed too before installing the latest one)
It just seems i cannot save another amount of reagents to auto-buy than the amounts that are standard.. I can change the numbers, ie 60 arcane powder instead of 20, but it doesn't save...
Furthermore I keep clicking the center sphere to start eating/drinking, because i am used to that in arcanum and former versions of Cryolysis... not in this one? Or can I set up the actions upon clicking on the center sphere?
Many thanks for providing this cool add on, makes mage-life a lot easier :D

Posted Nov 19, 2007You can set the main sphere's action in the configuration menu (right-click the main shpere). I haven't had any issues with my reagents not re-stocking to the set amount. If you're setting it by typing in the amount in the feild, instead of using the slider, make sure you hit enter after typing in the value.

Posted Nov 19, 2007I have downloaded this twice. The problem is that the sphere just doesn't show up on my screen. I even moved the old Cryo folder out of my addons folder. Is there something I am missing? Is there a way to force the sphere to show. At this point I am just using the old version. Any help with this would really be appreciated. Thanks.

Posted Nov 19, 2007Are you sure you have Cryolysis 2 enabled and Cryolysis 1 disabled in your addons menu? Do you get any errors when you log-on?

Posted Nov 19, 2007Ok have deleted all SV files for Cryolysis redownloaded and installed addon and still can't select anything under the spell timers tab it shoes 3 evocations when changing area or logging then nothing going to try moving all sv file out then just running Cryolysis to see it I have addons arguing

Posted Nov 19, 2007I'm not clear on the issue you're having. If you're trying to use the spell timers, they have not been implemented yet. The option in the configuration menu and the timers frame have been added, but the actual functionality hasn't. For now, disable the spell timers. If that isn't the issue please describe again what the problem is. Thanks.

My question is, if you planned a translation/localization for cryolysis2? In this Case for the german client. Since I play WoW I use Cryolysis and I wanna use the newest version that exist. I like this addon and I don't wanna miss it

Posted Nov 19, 2007Yes, localizations will be implemented. The focus was on making all of the core functionality work and fixing any bugs in the Beta. Once those tasks are complete, the localizations will be addressed. We appreciate your support for Cryolysis and apologize for the inconvenience.

Posted Nov 19, 2007Yeah, the messages haven't been implemented in Version 2 yet. As a note, you can set an event in DoTimers to make a chat announcement (party/raid/say, etc...), but it will only do 1 predefined message, so it's very limited.

Posted Nov 19, 2007The Cryo2 is still in beta (though works mostly much better than the original :D ) and the messages are not implemented yet.
(Sad, becouse I miss them more than the timers - since DoTimers [thanks for the tip!] works perfectly :) )
