A smart and simple buff notification addon-on. When u gain Hot Streak, Brain Freeze & MissleBarrage proc, displays a flashing fullscreen-effect and plays a sound

Never miss the instant pyroblast, fireball or Missle Barrage

Displays Arcanblast debuff as Combo Points (Rogue or Cat like) [Only in v1.3 alpha]

Commands:

/magealert - commandlist

/magealert flash on/off" - disable/enable flashing fullscreen effect

/magealert sound on/off" - disable/enable sound notification

/magealert fofsound on/off" - disable/enable Fingers of Frost sound notification

Support for all locations in current release !

Only sheeps are prettier!

Fingers of Frost is no longer flashing nor making the sound...Brain Freeze is working fine & I have set the sound to "on" for fofsound as well as disabled & re enabled without any success. I do not have the addon OmniCC installed from previous posts below.

It occurs only when fingers of frost proc. Brainfreeze works without any error.

jumalu that said it to flash probably lies one of you the sound prefers there and others off from the outset flash I to you to say like their it switches to I one away found the options to store

open /interface/addons/magealert/magealert.lua with editor

to deactivate sound on every logon turn "local sound = true" to "local sound = false"

to deactivate flash on every logon turn "local flash = true" to "local flash = false"

option bug fixed in rev 44

I had never this problem please test times new rev44 and say to me whether it am always still there

I have the same problem... I don't know why since the last patch i put flash on off but it doesn't work . And when hot streak proc i have a big lag T.T

as a side note I had some problems with the sound turning itself back on after every game reload. to fix the issue I just deleted the sound filesno more sound but I still have the flash

never used "omnicc" and still having the same problem ... i turned "flash = off" and there are no lags anymore but the option doesnt work in the new version :/

MageAlert rev 42 now support all locations (frensh, spanish, english, russian, chinese&taiwan)

frensh brain frezze bug is fixed

other fixes soon :)

I get every so often when the MP3 for Hotstreak goes off the game kinda freezes for a second. Almost seems like after a few times it lags the game. Is this a known issue or something I can do to fix the problem?

I know my system has more then enough resources and is more then capable of handling a small 56k MP3. 8 Gigs of Ram, 880 GTX card, X-fi Live card...

Any suggestions?

^ This same exact thing is happining to me as well. every Hot Streak proc i get a half second freeze. Any information as to what is causing this?

I like the addon - simple and useful - but I went back and used the old (text-to-speech) sounds. Not only do I like the simpler "brain freeze" audio better, it starts playing immediately. When these abilities proc, I like to know ASAP.

u can setup scorchio only for your own buffs e.g. LB & scorch (scorch also from others) but i think its nice it will olay track your LB timer not others

Any plans for having the options saved between sessions?

Currently I have to type in "/magealert fofsound off" every time i log in.

I love the sound effects, very original. Keep up the great work!
