Create panels for customizing your UI, sucessor to eePanels

OnClick now provides a pressed and released variable you can check for.

if pressed then
  -- do mouse down actions
elseif released then
  -- do mouse up actions
end

This means your script will get called twice when someone clicks the panel.

Ive created an Example Texture Pack.

This example pack is just a template. If you want to use it as a storage spot for your art, look at the read me file for directions on usage.

mbergkotte is right. for those who have used kgpanels for a long while were just used to not having to do this.

As of the latest update, it sadly seems that updating the addon somehow deleted my Art folder. The folder itself and the files in it, are no longer anywhere to be found on my computer, which is quite disappointing as they were the only files I had.

I am still having issues with the background color on the panels. I even tried to create a new basic black panel and all I can get to change color is the outline. Everything else is clear and transparent. all I can see is the border.

HELP!!!

Still the same.
All my panels are transparent no matter what! Its annoying as hell. Any fixes that actually work for this?

Hey, thx for a great addon.

I just stumbled across a problem though.
I just updated to the newest version and now the dark bagground colour I had in my frames are all gone... any idea?
Is it because WoW is not patch 4.01 yet? I'm using EU client.

Well if you are also experiencing this, it might just be because it only works 100% in the upcoming patch.

Got the same problem here, so put in my backup folders of the addon + the settings from WTF folder. Some panels came back, while others seemed to be missing. After a few min I saw I just had to fix their colors and what frames they should stand in again.

I'm having the same problem as well, I've tried reloading the lua several times. All of my panels are in the correct areas, but my background settings are gone.

Make sure your background texture is set to solid. Mine were all missing, too, and I had a gradient setup on all my panels. Changed the background from none to solid and they all looked normal.

Download the lastest update and it includes the fix for the error. It works too, fixed mine a bit ago. :D

In the Cataclysm Beta, I keep getting this error for all of my segments:

kgPanels: Background Texture None(Interface\None) failed to load.

Why can't I set the background texture to "None" anymore? Does anyone else have this problem?
