HeadCount2
HeadCount2
Re-Write of the original HeadCount. This rewrite is to move to Ace3 and WoW 4.0
HeadCount2 is a configurable World of Warcraft add-on that automatically tracks raid attendance, loot, and boss kills.
HeadCount2 answers the following questions:
- How long is a player active in a raid?
- How long is a player on standby for a raid?
- How long is a player offline during a given raid?
- What loot dropped during a raid and who received it?
- What boss kills occurred during a given raid and who was there for the kill?
Features
Raids
- Raid creation: Automatically creates a new raid as you join or start a raid.
- Raid finalization: Automatically ends an existing raid as you leave a raid.
- Raid management: The user can end raids, remove raids, or remove all raids on demand.
- Raid zone tracking: Zone name are automatically added to raids as you zone into a raid instance for the first time.
Player attendance
- Player tracking: Players are tracked based on their timed participation in the raid. Players can be tracked based on configurable raid groups for raid list activity (active raiding players) and wait list players (queue/standby players).
- Player removal: The user can remove tracked information for specific players on demand.
- Player history: View specific player history for a raid to see how and when a player moved from activity to standby to offline and back during a raid.
- No list tracking: Players can be tracked as non-raid list and non-standby players as needed. Players that go offline are automatically taken out of the raid and wait list groups for tracking purposes.
- Integrated wait list: Receive whispers from members outside of the raid group in order to track them.
Boss kills
- Boss kill tracking: Tracks the world bosses killed during the course of a raid and the raid list members present for the kill.
- Boss kill removal: The user can remove tracked boss kills on demand.
- Manual boss kill: The user can add a boss kill to the current raid at the current time with the current roster via the config UI
Loot
- Loot tracking: Tracks loot received during a raid based on configurable item level quality (default: Epic item level or higher)
- Loot removal: The user can remove specific pieces of loot on demand.
- Loot exclusion: The user can manage loot exclusion which will prevent certain pieces of loot from being tracked during a raid.
Export
- Export: Users can export current raid attendance and received loot information to one of a number of formats (CSV, XML, Text, EQdkp XML string, phpBB forum post, phpBB with ItemStats forum post).
Reporting
- Boss kill broadcast: The user can optionally broadcast when the raid kills a boss to a configurable chat channel.
- Loot broadcast: The user can optionally broadcast when a player receives a valid piece of loot to a configurable chat channel.
Performance
- Fault tolerance: If the mod owner quits WoW, restarts WoW, or reloads their UI during a raid and returns to the game, HeadCount2 will attempt to gracefully recover from the outage to continue tracking the active raid.
- Attendance delay: Configure how often HeadCount should manage attendance updates to increase or decrease performance and/or accuracy.
That last update deleted my raids I had, is there a way to get those back?
it shouldnt stop and restart a raid, please turn on debug and send me the chat window output.
When I do relog - raid is automatically finishes, and new one is opened, how I can fix this?
Every relog - new raid, so I can't export data :( Tell me which info you need to find an error +_+
Veev turn on debug next time you goto loot and tell me if it dumps anything out that would help a lot.
Broadcast loot still not working in v1.0.2-5-gc617949
just FYI :)Thanks
1.) if you wow client crashes and you had not done a reload or changed zones the saved data will not have been flushed to disk. No way around that if the client crashes and doesnt save any data. Addons no longer have the ability to tell the client to saved data to disk.
2.) ill look into a refresh no working as intended.
3.) ill see what i can do i was trying to avoid slash commands that people have to remember for stuff to work.
4.) Ill check broadcasting again i tested locally and it seemd to work manually adding bosses and loot. I havent bene in a raid in cata yet.
Tried HC2 in a real raid for the first time last night. Couple of notes:
1) WoW Client crashed once and all previous information about the raid (Players/Wait List/Bosses/Loot/Attendance) was lost. I don't remember this happening in HC1, but I may have just never crashed during a raid while running HC before. Anyways, if this is unintended then I thought I'd let you know.
2) Loot list refresh - Didn't refresh automatically, have to click to another tab and then come back to see any loot that has been handed out since you went to the loot tab.
3) Wait List is working awesome! My one request would be to have a command to do the 'Announce WaitList' and 'Show Waitlist' in <channel> . If I could put both of those in a macro it would save a lot of time. (As opposed to going into the interface, clicking the horn, selecting which announcement, and clicking another button)
4) Did an XML export last night and imported it into Guildomatic. It worked flawlessly!
Anyways, thanks again for your hard work on this rewrite! -Ryan
Broadcast loot doesn't seem to be working. I have it checked with guild selected but it doesn't announce anything.
Also is there any chance you could release a lightweight mod with JUST the loot announce? Would be really nice.
Ty for great mod.
is it giving you an error? I tested that a bit and wasnt seeing any issue. but to export a raid it must be closed. i.e. if it says (active) net to the raid it wont export.
Just wondering if it is me or me. Probably me. But I can't export from captured raids. Is this not functional yet?
Thank you for the quick response. It works perfectly now.
have them whisper you wl to see the waitlist commands
i.e player joe wants to be on the waitlist, player bob is running headcount
joe: /whisper bob wl
joe gets all the command sent to him on how to add himself to the waitlist.
I have been monitoring this addon for the last few weeks and just wanted to thank you for all the work. This addon makes attendance tracking for my guild so much easier. The only problem I am currently having is I don't know how to get it to add people to the wait list from whispers. I haven't been able to find any information on this either so any advice as to how to get this function to work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Release tagged,
99.9% of everything should now be working i ran some testing in karazahn to see boss kills and loot tracked. ill be adding an attendance summary tonight or tommarrow in prep for cata.
Locailzation data will also be uploaded when the last panel is in place.
ill check the minimap option
Thanks for all your work so far, looking good.
One problem I have is that even though the minimap option is unticked, I have to tick it and untick it to remove the minimap icon, which re-appears on the minimap on each relog (and sometimes without a relog).
with latest alpha build /hc2 will bring up the config /hc2 tracker will bring up the tracker all the core funcaitonality is about there. only thing left is loot management button and some tooltips tog still.
Waitlist panel done, taking a break for a few hours then ill do the boss list panel.
Ok member information about a raid is finished and working. Next up is Waitlist panel.
