Data extract for GatherMate2

How to install the data:

1.) install GatherMate2_Data
2.) Once in game, open gathermate (/gathermate)
3.) Select the Import section
4.) select the data you want and click import.
5.) Profit

State in Shadowlands

GatherMate2_Data and the background tools have been updated for Shadowlands, and early data for both Herbs and Mining locations is already available in the latest update. We'll keep updating the database as more information is uploaded to Wowhead!

A hotfix removed a ton of nodes from Deepholm and from Twighlight highlands for herbs and ore it would be great if Gathermate2's data was reset to reflect the change.

Yeah hoping for this as well, I keep importing with "overwrite" in hopes of seeing the nodes in those zones get cut way down, but not yet.

i will have a large batch of archeology data soon. also will you be adding my northrend BC fishing data back or do i have to redo all of that again? that was many many hours of work i'd hate to redo, especially since i've been slowly doing it for the new zones don't really have time to go back to old ones

So after Importing this Twilight highlands is showing an impossible amount of nodes, its very messy.

By Impossible I mean, well Impossible there is no way 1 zone has that many nodes, also the entire map is totally covered with dots completely defeating the purpose of the addon

Hyjal has lot phased zones in it. There are many times you will see a node and not eb able to mine it when you get there because it disappears. That is the phasing. You need to quest out the zone so you can see everythign normally.

I believe all that phasing into different zones and such is messing up the logging for Wowhead addon so things aren't being captured properly.

Twilight Highlands is the same too, and the biggest problem there is even if you do every single quest out there you then place yourself in another phase where you could mine before but now you can't. It's a bad idea having phased stuff imo but I guess the reason was to rule out the number of people reporting underground botters because they were in another phase.

I need help.
for some reason i vant see nodes.
there is no data gathermate and routes said.(no data found)
i installed the database tryed in nothing.
i updated the database and nothing.

i'm running win7 professional 64 bit

Have a few dozen Herb nodes that are new. If I want to contribute what file and what location do I send?

Edit - I also have the WoWhead client that I upload after each time i play. If that makes any difference.

So, apparently the hot-fix patch today, Dec. 15, removed a bunch of nodes in Deephom... is there a way to update the Data with the removed nodes?

I'm not getting any errors on data import attempts, but no new nodes show on my map. Only the ones I've physically mined/herbed are showing.

He was referring to a posting in the comments, where someone was advertising an illegal addon. That posting has already been deleted, however the replies to a deleted post always remain.
It's perfectly safe and legal to use GatherMate2.

so wait,someone said something on here about this add on getting you banned

was he just spamming.or can this seriously get you banned,i was thinkin about gettin it to help find the spots i can mine to get my jewelcrafting up but im not gonna use it if its gonna get me banned

it's more a problem with wowhead's database than with gathermate2_data (you won't see a single gathering node on wowhead in hyjal). until the problem is fixed on wowhead's end, we won't see anything but our own data in hyjal unless we send them to gathermate2_data author

I just spent an hour or so mining in Hyjal; I doubt I have every node, but my map is MUCH more populated than it was. I was finding new nodes everywhere. How do I send that information in to be included in the addon data? I'd like to help out since everyone seems to want that info.

import overwrote the new data and you didn't keep any of outlands/northrend fishing data at all :( guess you haven't sorted it yet
