GatherMate2
GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.
This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here
GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.
To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage
Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.
You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.
Localization (Translation of Nodes)
GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:
https://www.wowace.com/projects/gathermate2/localization
Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.
GatherMate2_Data
GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for Shadowlands, and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.
If you are looking for a pre-filled database for GatherMate2, get GatherMate2_Data here:

Just me, then? :(
Never mind. new patch from Blizzard seemed to fix the problem..
I just received an update via Curse and installed it. I didn't see any change so I looked at Add-ons.. Blizzard still says it's out of date. 6/29/15 2:30 PM PDT
Howdy well i wonder will gathermate 2 and gathermate 2 data be updated to support the new 6.2 patch?
have a nice day :D
Since the data has already been updated to 6.2, I would assume so
Would nice if you could change your Version-number to a better format in front wow version, after that your version. example: 6.2.0.x
NPCscan, Archy, LibSharedMedia, Ackis Recipe List and more authors doing it.
Thanks!
Hello.
I've been using the Gathermate for some years now and have herbed, mined, etc and had a lot of locations on my map. I have updated the addon several times, but when i updated the add the last time, all my old locations dissapeared from my map. =0(
What did i do wrong, and can i some how get my old locations "back"?
Thank you
i thought i remember being able to find out data about a specific e.g. herb i am looking for (but i might be thinking of gatherer) where gathermate would let me know where the most nodes are. does anyone know a way to query the database for specific information?
thank you.
Great addon. Been using it a while.
One request, this addon does not add "Mixed Ocean School" for the fishing pools in Booty Bay. This would really help with the Stranglethorn Fishing Tournament. I am unsure why it is not logging information for these very important nodes.
Couple of newbie questions:
1. I found a treasure chest that wasn't on the treasure chest map, and now it has the purple circle to indicate it's in my database. How does that new data point end up in the data base? Is this automatic?
2. Should I stand near it and do a database cleanup through the interface, to see if it was just too close to the existing one nearby and is considered a slight variation in location?
3. I am in The Dead Scar outside Silvermoon. I have found boxes called Food Crates. Is it intended that these not show up as Treasure? (this is not the same item referenced in #1 and #2, that was a full-on Treasure Chest.)
Is this some sort of bug, I sometimes have to /reload for the nodes to show on my minimap
:Edit: seems to be when entering/leaving garrison they disappear
Mine does the same. I exit garrison they are gone, I reloadui and they are back.
Is there a way to delete all the nodes from my garrison map? I have a bunch of nodes on my map in the garrison. I tried to delete the nodes using the Maintenance/Delete Specific Nodes and the zone list is empty. I don't feel like right clicking and deleting each individual node.
i was thinking of the same thing. i would love to remove JUST those annoying ones that show up on the garrison map that aren't really there!
hi, i can't get GM2 to import any nodes at all, at least in WOD, it only shows what i have discovered myself. help plz
I keep running into this addon outputting "unknown: (zone name)" into my chat window. Is there anyway to stop this from happening?
I'd like to see the ability to filter Timber nodes by size. On one toon, I may only want to see large timber locations and on another toon, I may want to see only small timber and (medium) timber.
that would be a very helpful change to the addon. i agree!
I installed Gathermate2 and it shows all the nodes on both maps but I can find very few deposits on the actual landscape when I fly over. what am I doing wrong?
