I have been exploring Feralas and Thousand Needles and i didn't found any Solid Chest instead i found:

    Sturdy Treasure Chest and Runestone Treasure Chest in the case of Feralas
    Maplewood Treasure Chest and Silken Treasure Chest in the case of Thousand Needles

I believe that this happen in all Azeroth in the Cataclysm patch.
