GatherMate2

Table of Contents

GatherMate2 is an addon to collect and track herbs, mines, fishing pools, gas clouds, archaelogy finds and treasures, and displays them on the world map and the mini map.

This is the Retail version of GatherMate2, the version for WoW Classic can be found here

GatherMate will remember the location of every herb you pick or every ore you mine, so that you can easily find the positions of the herbs and mines again. Once you come into range of a recorded spot, GatherMate will show an icon representing the type of herb/ore/fish/etc. on your mini map, directly allowing you to decide if its worth checking out. Additionally, all spots are shown on the World Map, to ease navigation to certain types of nodes and making gathering more fun.

To give you a head start, GatherMate2 also offers a pre-filled data module, so you don't need to discover all herbs and mines yourself, but instead can just start gathering right away. Simply install GatherMate2_Data and hit a few buttons to import all the provided data, and you're good to go.

Usage

Using GatherMate2 is straight-forward.
After the installation, GatherMate2 is automatically active and collecting data.

You can configure which data should be shown on the World Map or MiniMap in the Configuration Dialog, which can be accessed either via the /gathermate slash command or be found in the Interface options in the WoW Menu.

Localization (Translation of Nodes)

GatherMate2 relies on the node names to be translated in all languages WoW supports. You can contribute additional translations for your language here using the Localization tool:

Any translations submitted through that tool will be automatically included in the next release.

GatherMate2_Data

GatherMate2_Data has been updated with all fresh data from Wowhead, including support for The War Within (and Midnight in the future), and will be continously updated throughout the coming expansion.

I love the only show while tracking feature. Can you please extend this to the ancient mana nodes for less clutter? That would be amazing!

Localization should be updated here on the website: https://www.wowace.com/addons/gathermate2/localization/

It'll then automatically show up in the next release version. I've imported the translations you provided now, however.

Total newbie to mods!

I just installed gathermate2 and went to import the data file and my import screen is empty. any ideas?

If you read at the bottom it currently says with Legion nodes the only source of info for nodes is from player's data currently, due to WoWDB and Wowhead not having the data.

This post is for the Brazilians.

Fiz as correções para planta e pedra no arquivo GatherMate2-ptBR.lua que fica na pasta "...World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GatherMate2\Locales"

Basta baixar o arquivo e substituir na pasta informada acima (como boa prática e precaução faça uma cópia backup do seu arquivo antes de substituir).

E dentro do addon marque a opção "Mostrar sempre" nas opções gerais do "Mostrar nodes de Mineração" e no de planta (herborismo). Isso é necessário pq provavelmente está com problema na tradução da profissão e o addon não consegue identificar se o seu char tem ou não a profissão. Não me dei o trabalho de procurar onde corrigir isso pq eu só habilito o addon para os personagens que possuem a profissão, até para não ficar carregando addon desnecessário em personagem que não tem/usa o mesmo.

So i found the problem into the localization, to be more accurate into the translation of Herbalism herb into Italian. This should work for Herbalism and Mining (Even the Ancient Mana should be tracked) in Legion. I'll end with the Update soon.

PS: Whom find some problem like "Addons doesn't show the Herb on the minimap even if i gatherd it right now" for fix it just open the Locals wich matches with your client language and look for the English version of gathered items and just translate it.

Same for me, can't make it to show archaeology nodes. In the minimap filters there's no option to select the new legion projects

@Nevcairiel I uploaded the ZH-CN locales for the nodes in legion expansion through the localization system

i dont know why it doesn't work for me. I've installed addon + gathermate2_data. I've imported data but i dont see nodes in map and minimap (i use Mapster as addon map).

edit: ok now work. After i take first mining node, i re-import data and all nodes appears in the map
