FlagRSP2
FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.
FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.
If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.
If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

Posted Mar 6, 2007No matter where I download rsp2, I still can't use it. Addon window in WoW still tells me the program is incompatible (as if it was still rsp 1).

Posted Mar 1, 2007Are we ever going to get the friend's list back? I really liked that, and used it to help me keep track of people I knew, and from where. I used it to keep track of important dates, the names of the alts of people I knew, things like that. It was the second best thing about RSP.

Posted Feb 25, 2007DevaVictrix70, Knikker; This happens when an AddOn passes a bad Unit value off to another AddOn. FlagRSP2 does test it and takes it in good faith that the Unit is valid.
I am working on a fix for it, but the latest version of X-Perl(Also causes this problem) has fixed most instances of it happening.

Posted Feb 18, 2007I get the following error message when I hover my mouse over a part of my ArcHUD ( VR. 2.1.26541 )addon;
Interface\Addons\flagRSP2\flagRSP2.lua: 917: attempt to concatenate a nil value
I'm also using the FlagRSP2 vr. 1.2.7. Anyone else have/had this error, know how to resolve it?

Posted Feb 2, 2007It would be nice if it was possible to see if you got showing the description enabled or disabled for your character. It seems after clicking the button a couple of times I couldn't see my own description anymore at all no matter how much I clicked the button again.

Posted Jan 30, 2007I'm having problems with flagRSP2. When I open it in game all I get is a green box. I can see some of the words, like prefix, suffix, and the like, and I can click on the tabs on the bottom (options, tooltips, and character) but that's all I can see. I am able to see other people's profiles, but they can't see mine, or what I think I get put on it. I've tried re-downloading, using an old version, disabling everything but flagRSP2 but nothing has worked so far. Do you know what could be the problem?

EDIT: I'd just like to add that it still didn't work for whatever reason, and I also would like to add that in 1.2.6 and 1.2.5 when I get this bug, the tooltips are no longer colored either.
EDIT2: I got rid of the tooltip problem.

Posted Jan 23, 2007I'd just like to say that for some reason this no longer works. I don't know if it's the 2.0.6 patch, but it was working fine once, and now it doesn't. For one, I can see what the addon is outputting into the xtenstiontooltip2 channel, although I can turn it off, and it doesn't color tooltips anymore. However, for some reason, the minimap button is still there. This happens on all characters regardless of any other mods. I disabled ALL mods but FlagRSP and still had this problem. WTF is going on??
