FlagRSP2
FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.
FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.
If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.
If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

Posted Dec 30, 2006FlagRSP2 is compatible with MRP. If MRP users are not on the xtensionxtooltip2 channel, then they are not compatible with FlagRSP2.

Posted Dec 30, 2006Hm, seems that flagRSP2 still doesn't show MyRolePlay users. MyRolePlay can read others decsription even if they use flagRSP or Immersion. Woud be really nice if you fixed this, would "open" the dorr between half the RP society.

Posted Dec 30, 2006oversight, the addon channel is restricted within party/raid/guild I think. There's no "global addon channel", so flagrsp channel is the only way to go until blizzard adds something like it on the default interface.

Posted Dec 29, 2006With all addons having to be updated (mostly) for version 2.0 of Wow, why not change the addons to use the Addon channel in wow instead of the private chat channel?

Posted Dec 20, 2006FlagRSP does not seem to be compatible with MyRolePlay at all, I can not see any details from MyRolePlay Users.
Also, with X-perl unitframes, when mousing over a party member's target, an error occurs.

Posted Dec 6, 2006Some changes from PTR to live introduced a few bugs into 1.2 and have been fixed for 1.2.1. http://www.nonamestudios.com/flagRSP2.php
This website and Curse are basically broken right now and it would be best to download from my website.

MyRoleplay has been compatible with FlagRSP2's data communication protocol for a long time and has been since it was created.

Posted Dec 5, 2006Are there any plans on making this compatible with MyRoleplay, or are we doomed to have a community where one half can't see the other?

Posted Oct 24, 2006There is still one thing that this addon's player tooltip lacks which the default WoW player tooltip displays: The name of the realm the player (friendly or otherwise) is from, if it's not your own realm.
Related to this problem is a bug of sorts. I've received RP info (additional name, description, etc.) from players that aren't in my realm during a BG match, which tells me that if Player X from another realm is in the battleground with you and another player actually from your realm with that same name is logged in, is part of your faction, and has Flag RSP info, mousing over Player X will display the other player's info.

Posted Oct 11, 2006Hey there Azxiana :) I just caught this addon from Argentrose and so far it's lookin' pretty cool so thumbs up!
Now what this addon really needs is a Friends List! That's what was so handy for me on the original flagRSP...is there any in the works for this addon? Unless I somehow missed this option somewhere? I can't seem to find one but please let me know if anything is coming up!
Keep workin' hard and ty for making this addon. WoW needs more RP!
