FlagRSP2
FlagRSP2 is an AddOn for World of Warcraft that allows players to add additional information about their characters into the game. It is designed to support role players and allow others with MSP compatible AddOns to easily see if the character is a role player or is even in character. Characters can be fleshed out with additional names, titles, and detailed descriptions.
FlagRSP2 is a continuation of flagRSP 0.5.6 by Flokru. FlagRSP2 is a completely new code base designed to be more efficient and play well with other AddOns. As of 2.5, FlagRSP2 uses the new Mary Sue Protocol to communicate, and no longer uses chat channels.
If your FlagRSP2 copy is OLDER than 1.5.x you should delete the FlagRSP2 directory first!(The Curse Client will do this for you if you use that.) Copy the "flagRSP2" folder into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder. Before selecting your character and entering the game other MSP RP AddOns such as MyRolePlay must be disabled to prevent conflicts.
If you really like this AddOn and would like to help support it, there are a couple of things you can do. You can help by providing clear bug reports that try to accurately describe the problem and screenshots are helpful. Submit your trouble ticket here.

Posted Dec 12, 2008But I steel have the error with flagRSP2 trying to index 'db' a nil value.
It's not regular and can append at anytime. I didn't find why yet.
Also, I've got a little suggestion.
flagRSP is using titles... But it's own. Couldn't it be possible to use GetCurrentTitle() and GetTitleName() to keep the title directly from blizzard?

Posted Nov 15, 2008I have this annyoing problem with FlagRSP that whenever I use /afk it takes me out of it, then afks me again, takes e out of it, afks me again. This usually spams my chat when I return from my "AFKing" with the "You are no longer AFK" "YOu are now AFK" messages.
But that's NOT why I came here. I could lvie with that, but today, I simply disable FlagRSP when I was AFK, thinking, "What could happen?"
I also got this message pop up, "To enable FlagRSP use /rsp standby" or something like that. So I returned, tryed the command - and nothing happened. Absolutely. Not even a "Invalid command" message. Anything that starts with "/rsp" or "/flagrsp" does nothing at all. That while FlagRSP is shown as "Enabled" in the character screen.
So, here I am, with FlagRSP being disabled, with no ways of enabling it. It doesn't show up in-game in the Interface -> Addons menu.
Someone, help me, I WANT mah FlaGRSP! D:

Posted Nov 19, 2008About your AFK problem, there are two solutions. The first is to use an option in the config window which I just mentioned. Go to "Settings" and then check "Stop synchronizing while AFK." The other solution is to install an addon I wrote several months ago called "AFK Fix," which works for flagRSP2 and any other addon that clears your AFK flag because it's sending messages over hidden channels. (For most people, the option in flagRSP2 is fine, but I'm AFK quite a bit so I still use AFK Fix so it keeps synchronizing while I'm gone.)

Posted Oct 25, 2008It's a bit unstable, sometimes it'll run for hours before it happens, sometimes it'll happen within moments and sometimes it won't happen at all.
Anyone else had this problem?

Posted Oct 27, 2008I initially thought one of my spam blockers or WIM was causing it, but I know peeps who have the same addons and builds as my who aren't having this issue at at all.
Even tried a complete re-install of all my addons and the WTF file from scratch, same issue.
I just sit there weeping onto my keyboard when I see the default muted colours of the tooltip come back. :(
