i completely agree! SavedInstances is a wonderful addon to complement farming with FarmHand (and many other timers that may be wondering about). i use it all the time, it is very helpful. and yes, it will tell you when you have or not planted your seeds for the day, and if there are any ready for harvesting (and even what was planted).

i dont know if this will be to much to ask for or not, so im just gonna throw it out there XD

im one of thouse guys who have 5 ppl doing the farm daily, and sometimes i miss doing it on one of them, so i have an idear to a extra feature: track the farm "progress" on each character and make it sho the once that need's more work "today" this could also include seed's that needs attention.

EDIT: i would also be cool if it could detect plant's ready for harvesting or soil without anything in it, so the "scan" button would onely say "the crops are looking good!" when the farm is full of plantet seeds that needs to grow.

I too would like to see this feature. In fact, my search brought me to your addon. I would like to be able to access a grid or report that tells me not only who is ready to harvest but what each toon has planted and it's status.

Is there an existing addon like this?

I would like to see the Cooking School bell show up when at hallhill as well as sunsong ranch.

Also, it would be really awesome if it only showed up if you haven't done the quest for that day. (but doesn't hide until you make him go away ...)

Thing is, you don't need to be at Halfhill to use the Cooking Bell... could be good if it popped up when you logged in and hadn't yet done the quest today, though

Hey, I LOVE this addon!
Also, I was going to fiddle with your code to make a similar addon that recognizes all types of food in my bags and display them in a similar bar (as a holy/ret pally I have to keep multiple kinds of food and banquets on hand).

However, I am a programming idiot and Farmhand has enough features that I can't make it work. I was able to add the food IDs to the "seeds" category in data.lua but that doesn't help me when I'm away from Halfhill. ;)

Any advice on an addon that would do such a thing, or advice on making a Farmhand hack that would do it?

Is there any way to move where FarmHand shows up on the screen?  Would love the ability to put it someplace other than right in the middle of my screen.

Stopped using this addon. Was exactly what I was looking for but having it in the middle of my screen with no option to move it was just too annoying. Wish the author had replied to my post for help.

I've noticed a few problems since 5.2 - firstly the seed bags are showing strange numbers (says things like 74 even though I only have 1 or 2) & if I have my hearth set as the farm, when I log in there it seems that Farmhand doesn't notice I'm at the farm & doesn't display. Reloading the UI and/or flying out of the zone & back in doesn't work. Only way to fix it is to log out and back in.
