EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

First of all, love your addon, it looks great and the interface/config is user-frienldy and quite foolproof.

However i struggle to find the function to let the addon notify me when buffs on me is about to expire (like flashing screen, sending me a text or play a sound). If the function isn't there would you consider implementing it in the future? thanks :-)

I'm joining the Furiosu request. I want create horizontal icon group without texts for timeless, and another one for weapon buffs/poisons, but there is missing the function for such thing. If you will consider to addd it in future, it will be great if it'll come with icon border color based on group collor, and icon countdown clock-like timer, like if you are waiting on skill refresh, if you know what I mean :)

With those few features it will be the ultimate buffs addon :)

is there a way to show the duration of buffs on party members? (such as renew, PW:S, or things of that nature)

Guys, stop leaching on people's hard work. If you have a suggestion to make or a bug to report, use the ticket system or the forum. Otherwise the website will shut down like the old wowace.com after developers get pissed off enough to do it. Or access will be granted only through personal authorisation.

Hello, is there any option or way to make the buffs show in a horizontal order (instead of vertical up/down)? I'm basicaly interested in creating a new group specific to only totems, without text on it, only icons in a horizontal line but I can't find an option for something like this (was only able to create a vertical one without text as normal).

Can anyone tell me who to remove the fake ''debuff'' which is always active until you actually get some debuff? It's really annoying and i would like it to get removed.

Hello, is there an option to consolidate multiple copies of the same buff? For example, can I make it so that only one Unholy Aura shows up even if there are multiple DKs with it in raid? Thanks in advance.

Right click minimap icon -> group settings -> whichever group you're trying to move -> show anchor. You drag it around by clicking on the anchor at the top of the buff frame, once that's hidden you can't move it unless you turn it back on.

If anyone else is annoyed by the bogus "Blessing of Demonstration" debuff/tench, you can simply open up the file EBB_BarGroup.lua and comment out the code. Add two hyphens at the start of the lines that look like this:
if self.layout.anchorshown and #data < 1 then
table_insert(data, DEMO_BUFF)
end

Is it possible to align buffs in more than one column? For example, after 10 buffs are active, is it possible to get buffs 11-20 to appear in a second column?

Great addon!! I'm just having one problem, my debuffs are set to show as red bars but that is not happening, only the background is red. Foreground stays like the Buff bar (blue).
