Elkano's BuffBars
EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.
Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.
Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.
In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

update for patch 8.0?
In reply to stardemon12:
Great addon, but causes an issue where the minimap tracking button disappears entirely. I had to uninstall because of this.
In reply to Trixiath:
anyone know if this add-on will be updated for BfA? I really like it
Since the Addon is 12 Years old, i guess there are no plans to integrate a Masque Option? :)
Hey I have a little suggestion:
On the default UI, buffs that can be purged from the target are highlighted on the icon. Is there any chance of an option for a similar thing in this addon? It would help a lot in PvP for classes that can purge/spellsteal as I prefer looking at this addon's bars instead of the default UI's icons.

So this evening i started getting this error from one of the EBB libs, i think it's conflicting with something on the newest update of Bagnon, but any help to get this resolved so I can use my 2 favorite addons would be greatly appreciated! This is the entire bug string from my bugsack:

In reply to Vavictus:
wasn't notified about Vavictu's post until your reply but have been in contact with him a few days ago via PM, so I'll drop (parts of) my reply in here, too.
I should also note, that for me, EBB is indeed running fine without error. But from looking at Bagons repository, it doesn't seem to be using LibGratuity-3.0, but maybe one of the plugins does.
Since 7.2.5, Blizzard buff icons keep coming back even when 'Hide Blizzard buffs' is checked in the EBB options.
Can't reproduce and there was no change in code (neither mine nor Blizzard's) that should have cause this. So my best guess is some other addon messing with them, too.
Thanks, I'll go through my addons and diagnose.
I would suggest to extend the "condensed" time format to display days (for buffs like the archeology buff or the Un'goro event buffs).
Can you Please Update this Addon to 7.1.5 or 7.2 .
PLEASE
