Elkano's BuffBars

EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features. It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings. EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor. After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Sometimes when I log in or zone into an instance, the buff bars are missing, and there is a small box with a "flame" texture on it. A simple /reload gets everything working again.
Used to be a once in a GREAT while thing that happened, now happens every other time I deal with a loading screen.

Any suggestions?

Is there any chance of migrating from Ace2 to Ace3? I am finding more and more issues and errors in game involving Ace2 and the addons that use it.

I can no longer get the right-click menu from the minimap icon. I just reformatted my PC and reinstalled (for other reasons) and downloaded a fresh version of the addon, but I still don't get a right-click menu, even when this is the only addon I have running. Was there a change in how to create new bargroups and I missed it or am I just having issues?

you're most likely having issues.
try: /ebb config
should open a menu, too.

Hey i was messing with the addon and i got it all screwed up lol. is there a command to completely reset the addon to all of its default settings? i tried /ebb profile reset, but it wasnt the default. pls help?

Can you pls add focus target`s target as sorurse. I am holy pala and i am using the addon to keep trak if a tank use cd like shield wall etc. Boss is on focus target and the target of the focus target is the currant MT. Thx in advance :)

So I have loaded and reloaded this and I am having trouble with the options. None of my option changes stay. If one option is highlighted I cant change it either. Whats up?

Is it possible to always show a bar of a certain buff with the timer on 0:00?
So the bar doesn't disappear when the buff wears off.

What would really complete this addon for me is a Global Cooldown bar - just something simple i can place in plain sight instead of the built in "clock" shimmer of Blizzard's icons (i dont notice it much anymore).

well, in that case it should still have listed it but those of other rogues, too. Unless you blacklisted instead. But good to hear that it's working now :)

This addon works very well for my own buffs but I have not been able to figure out how to get it to track a debuff I put on a target (specifically sunder armor). I have it set to target and white listed only the sunder armor debuff but still no dice. Please help!

hmm, in theory, it should be working...

make sure that:
- target is TARGET (should be OK)
- sunder armor is whitelisted (should be OK)
- "self cast buffs" filter is whitelist
- type filter is DEBUFF

if it still doesn't work, you could try a subset of the filters first, like setting the group only to target + debuff without further filtering and test it on some mobs, then add more filters.

Great Addon !

Very flexible and, for me, works perfectly.

My only suggestion would be to add under filter a Max / Min time left similar to the already existing time max.

Hi,

Great add on by the way. I would like my Rogue SnD + a few other things to appear just below my character. How do I create this and then move them around, all I see on the right is Buffs/Tracking.
