Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Decursive is dedicated to the memory of Bertrand Sense known as Glorfindal on the European server Les Sentinelles. He was the raid leader of my guild (Horizon)

I just had a not so smart question probably anyone could answer..so in the Decursive archive there are 3 folders..I know what 2 of them are for..but what is "Ace2" folder about?
I loaded up the Decursive folder by itself & the addon ran..am I lacking things without the Ace2 folder as well?
Ace2 is the framework Decursive depends on, it's also "embeded" in the add-on. I put the Ace2 and Fubarplugin folder just to avoid very old versions of these libraries being mixed with the current ones.
Hi there, great addon - can't live without it. Just one question: is there a way to switch off the icon and box from appearing towards the top of the screen when a unit is afflicted? Or if not, is it possible to move it at least? Thanks.
Yes thi is the live-list, you can move it by moving the "Decursive" bar, there are a bunch of options in the livelist options where you can also disable it.
I seems to lost the " decursive: dispel sucessful on<target>" msg. ANy idea how to get it back?
In Decursive 2.2.0 RC1 this message is no longer displayed. Instead a failure message appears when appropriate :)
Hi,
Since last patch few days ago, this message is randomly and regularly displayed: "MUFs position reset to default". As a result, micro-units panel position is reset to default, and that's truely bothering me...
Where do you place the MUF on your screen? If the handle is too close to an edge of the screen, it may be reset. Another possibility is a change of screen resolution. Nothing was change in Decursive code concerning this since at least 6 months.
my guild recently informed me that using decursive can get you banned from WoW. I believe that this is from an older version. Can you first confirm that this was an issue and second, confirm that this has been resolved? I believe it has been resolved but i would like to know for sure, because this is a fantastic mod!
This as never been a issue and will never be... this is just a stupid rumor, you can ask to a Game Master in game.
Here is what I've written in Decursive FAQ (in ReadMe.txt):
*** QUESTION :
** Since 2.X a lot of people in my raidgroup have heard that Decursive has been
banned by Blizzard and using it might result in penalties on ones account.
*** ANSWER :
** This is not true. The only add-ons that could put a player in troubles are
add-ons that don't respect the rules set by Blizzard, such as add-ons that
allows communication between different factions. Decursive breaks no rule of
that kind. When Blizzard disapproves an add-on they simply disable the API it
uses to work. This is what happened when WoW 2.0 came out, a lot of add-ons
where completely unusable (Decursive was part of them).
With Decursive, players still have to choose their target and the spells they
want to use on that specific target, this is what Blizzard wants. They disapproved
Decursive 1.x because players had only one button to press to remove all afflictions
without even thinking...
You can ask to a Game Master in game if you still have some doubts about Decursive status.
How do I make a custom macro?... Here's my issue: lvl 19 twink... Have minor recombobulater to remove polymorphs. How do I setup DCR to "/use Minor Recombobulator" and how do I let it notify me that someone is polymorphed?
Sorry but this is not possible.
Is there a command to turn off decursive because I do not need it for some toons? I'll add the command to a macro for my toon to turn off. /dcr standby only toggles and a macro will never know it is actually off. /dcrhide does not turn it off. The Ace code does not indicate a type of enable /disable option exists.
Is there a way to stop it from popping in BG?
Thanks.
Simply disable it in the addons menu available when you choose your character, you can also use a custom profile for each of your characters and disable the live-list and the MUFs...
Decursive uses very few resources to do its job so it's not really a problem, you won't notice any performance gains by disabling it.
Is there anyway to hide the minimap button?
yes, look in Decursive menu, under "Fubar options"
Is this now incompatible with new patch. I cannot get it to function properly. I have used both the curse client and old fashion delete and save file style install. No love. I hope this is fixed soon.
Ok, I somewhat retract my last statement. I did not use the top two, big, automatic links at the top (download/install via curse client). Once I went to the "Decursive 2.0 -Ace2- 2.1.0 Final (Zip)" link at the bottom and installed by unzipping it worked. just wanted to make sure that is out there in case anyone else is getting this after the patch.
