Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

I have a few questions for those having this issue:
- What types are enabled (in Curing Options panel)?
- Were you using the alpha version before the RC1 or 2?
- Do you also see the MUF lit up?
- Can you give me a debuff name/spellid that triggers the sound?

Thanks to both of you for the details, it helped me identify the issue quickly.
This is fixed in the latest alpha: 2.9.0-RC2-2-g60576de

Posted Sep 8, 2026@archarodim all options are ticked in the curing options, but only curse and poison can be unticked since I'm on druid.
I was using the alpha before RC1 and then RC2. (reverting from RC2 to RC1 fixed the issue though)
the MUF does not light up.
don't know the names or IDs but the bleeds from the "Bloodsworn Assassin" and the spinning axes from Kula the Butcher in Kings' Rest both trigger the sound.

Posted Sep 6, 2026let me preface this by saying thank you for all the years of decursive. it has become an essential addon to play.
that said, dude, PLEASE, either update the addon so it fully works or make it open source so people can help you maintain it like many other addons do. as mentioned it has become an essential addon used by millions of players. if you are having difficulty and you have been since 12.1 released, get some help. we need this addon working. not just the visual ques but the sound ques and everything else. in the meantime all of these updates are essentially useless as they dont make the addon work fully with 12.1 and future patches ASAP.

2.9.0-RC1 has just been released. Now if by fully you mean regain all the previous features, then that's impossible because Blizzard doesn't want to.
Decursive has already been open source for 7 years under the GPL v3, some people have made forks already that you can try if you prefer (look on Github)

Posted Sep 5, 2026Hello,
First off, thank you so much for this add-on. It's one of the best I ever used.
Last season when the squares lit up they would light up the color as the class that had the debuff (for example shaman was blue). Is there a way to make the add-on do this again? Now the squares are all the same color. Thanks again.

hmm the addon never did that, the color corresponds to the priority/button you must click, the class is around the square as a border.
