Decursive key benefits
Ease of use:
- Decursive supports all classes with cleansing abilities and configures itself automatically, it works straight out of the box, no configuration is required.
- Intuitive interface and detailed options, Decursive is suitable for simple usage and power users.
Control what and who you want to dispel:
- Easily Filter out afflictions you don't want to cure or that are useless to remove by class (some are pre-configured). (Such as afflictions affecting mana on non-mana classes, etc...).
- Choose between what you can dispel (magic, curses, poison, diseases, charms) choosing their priority. (this allows you to share the cleansing work with other players effectively)
- Prioritize or exclude members. (keep players, classes, or raid groups in a specific order to cleanse them in order of importance)
Manage Mind controlled units:
- If you are a Mage, a Druid or a Shaman you can Polymorph/Cyclone/Hex mind-controlled players.
- In any case Decursive will allow you to target mind controlled units easily.
- Decursive supports magic charming affect removal for Shamans (Purge and Hex), Priests (Dispel Magic), Hunters (Tranquilizing Shot), and Warlocks (Fellhunter and Doomguards spells).
Don't waste time:
- Your cleansing spell Cooldown is displayed to maximize your dispel speed.
- An automatic blacklist will prevent you from loosing time on players who can't be dispelled. (player 'out of line of sight' for example).
- Decursive choose a logical cleansing order depending on your current position in the raid. (preventing dispel concurrence between players and thus 'nothing to dispel' messages)
React faster:
- Visual and/or auditive alerts when someone needs your attention and can be dispelled.
- Special sound alert when Unstable Affliction is detected and you're about to dispel it.
- Visual and auditive alert when your dispel attempts are resisted or fail.
Integration in any interface:
- Decursive is designed to save screen real estate and to be forgotten when not needed.
- Many options allow you to customize Decursive appearance and interface behavior.
- All Decursive alert colors can be modified making it suitable for color-blind people.
Highly optimized and effective coding:
- Decursive was developed with memory and CPU usage in mind, installing Decursive won't affect your frame rate even in the worst battle conditions.
- Bug free: bugs are not tolerated in Decursive.
In brief, what you get with Decursive is effectiveness, a player using Decursive will always dispel faster than other players.

Posted Sep 23, 2008Please, read the readme file or the description above these comments; The mouse-over macro only works when you have a valid unit or unit frame under your mouse cursor.

Posted Sep 17, 2008Normally, I left-click a red MUF to remove a curse and right-click a blue MUF to sheep a charmed party member. Lately, it's been randomly reversing itself. The curses are turning blue and I have to right click them... It happens once or twice a day and I have to manually switch it back. I was using an older version of Decursive and tried updating to the newest, but it's still happening.

Posted Sep 5, 2008Thanks for such a great add on, I love it!
Have one concern after I just updated dcr today. I no longer see a "success" when I sheep a mob. Is there any reason for this, I have not read all the post here yet, so I thought I'd just ask! :)
Thanks again for all your hard work,
Saphora

Posted Sep 15, 2008Yes, Decursive is now able to detect when a cast fails (miss or resist) so instead of success notices, it displays failure notices when appropriate :) (read the change log to see all the changes)

Posted Aug 31, 2008Still one of the best mods in the game. When it was nerfed (2.0?) it seemed to lose popularity, but I tell my guildies that the reason they get dispelled so fast is because of decursive.

Posted Aug 14, 2008I just had a not so smart question probably anyone could answer..so in the Decursive archive there are 3 folders..I know what 2 of them are for..but what is "Ace2" folder about?
I loaded up the Decursive folder by itself & the addon ran..am I lacking things without the Ace2 folder as well?

Posted Aug 15, 2008Ace2 is the framework Decursive depends on, it's also "embeded" in the add-on. I put the Ace2 and Fubarplugin folder just to avoid very old versions of these libraries being mixed with the current ones.

Posted Aug 14, 2008Hi there, great addon - can't live without it. Just one question: is there a way to switch off the icon and box from appearing towards the top of the screen when a unit is afflicted? Or if not, is it possible to move it at least? Thanks.

Posted Aug 10, 2008Hi,
Since last patch few days ago, this message is randomly and regularly displayed: "MUFs position reset to default". As a result, micro-units panel position is reset to default, and that's truely bothering me...

Posted Aug 14, 2008Where do you place the MUF on your screen? If the handle is too close to an edge of the screen, it may be reset. Another possibility is a change of screen resolution. Nothing was change in Decursive code concerning this since at least 6 months.

Posted Jul 14, 2008my guild recently informed me that using decursive can get you banned from WoW. I believe that this is from an older version. Can you first confirm that this was an issue and second, confirm that this has been resolved? I believe it has been resolved but i would like to know for sure, because this is a fantastic mod!

Posted Jul 16, 2008This as never been a issue and will never be... this is just a stupid rumor, you can ask to a Game Master in game.
Here is what I've written in Decursive FAQ (in ReadMe.txt):
*** QUESTION :
** Since 2.X a lot of people in my raidgroup have heard that Decursive has been
banned by Blizzard and using it might result in penalties on ones account.
*** ANSWER :
** This is not true. The only add-ons that could put a player in troubles are
add-ons that don't respect the rules set by Blizzard, such as add-ons that
allows communication between different factions. Decursive breaks no rule of
that kind. When Blizzard disapproves an add-on they simply disable the API it
uses to work. This is what happened when WoW 2.0 came out, a lot of add-ons
where completely unusable (Decursive was part of them).
With Decursive, players still have to choose their target and the spells they
want to use on that specific target, this is what Blizzard wants. They disapproved
Decursive 1.x because players had only one button to press to remove all afflictions
without even thinking...
You can ask to a Game Master in game if you still have some doubts about Decursive status.
