Description
Compact Runes is a re-write of DocsDebugRunes. It preserves the compact UI but adds additional features.
Configuration
To configure, type /crunes or use the game menu: Esc -> Interface -> AddOns (tab in top, left corner) -> Compact Runes. Next to the Compact Runes title on the right is a small plus sign that expands and provides more settings.
Features
It tracks the following items:
- Runes (shown horizontally or vertically) with an optional setting to show a numeric timer for each rune. Runes are sorted by the recharge timer but it can be disabled.
- Runic Power
- Diseases and time left.
- Sudden Doom, Shadow Infusion, Dark Transformation, Soul Reaper, Festering Wound, and Epidemic for Unholy.
- Rime/Freezing Fog, Killing Machine, Icy Talons, Razorice, and Remorseless Winter for Frost
- Death and Decay Bar for Blood and Unholy to show the buff for AoE.
- Blood Shield
- Vampiric Blood bar which shows the duration and cooldown.
- LDB/Minimap Icon Support
- RC Procs are indicated with a white border.
- RE procs, RC procs, and wasted Blood Charges tracking in the LDB tooltip.
- Crimson Scourge is shown as a proc.
- Out of melee range is indicated by a red border. This option can be disabled.
- An optional "Almost ready" rune state. The alpha can be adjusted independently for it.
- Cooldown Bars per spec. A configurable row of icons to show the cooldown on abilities and certain trinkets.
- Swing Timer (main hand).

Is there any way to make the cooldown bars play nice with OmniCC? When I have OmniCC enabled, I end up with two different sized text count downs on the same button. I couldn't find out how to disable the cooldownbars timers.

Posted Oct 27, 2014It looks like OmniCC has changed. I added an option to disable the built-in numeric timers from Compact Runes. I also believe I fixed it so if you have the Compact Runes timers enabled then the OmniCC timers should not show up.
Blizzard also added an option to show numbers on cooldowns so it can get very confusing with all the ways numbers can be added to cooldown timers. The Blizzard setting is under Actions Bars in the Interface menu.
My changes are in the latest alpha. I'm releasing a new release version soon.

Posted Sep 11, 2014Is there a way to make the rune bars bigger? It is a little hard for me to see them bars while I'm in combat with it so tiny. Thanks!
Edit: I'm using on beta if that changes anything.

Posted Sep 13, 2014Hi, it works the same on beta and live. You can control the size of the bars by going into the settings and adjusting the Width and Height in the Dimensions section. Those two settings control the size of a rune bar and the rest of the UI will re-size accordingly.

Posted Sep 13, 2014I tried that and the only thing that changes was the blood charge bar and blood plague. Frost fever, runic power, and rune bars don't change size at all.
Edit: Ok so, when I logged back into beta later the bars changed sizes appropiately. I tested this and changed the size again and logged out and in and it worked. So it seems it's just buggy with beta.

Posted Sep 13, 2014Yes, a reload or restart should update the bars correctly. Due to a bug, it doesn't update them immediately as it should. I'll fix that in the next alpha.

Posted May 19, 2014When I get the Runic Corruption buff, a white border flashes around my runes. Since Runic Corruption is additive, I don't think I really need to know when its active or isn't. Is there any way to turn this off, I can't find it anywhere in the settings?

Posted May 5, 2014If you're looking for the numeric timer on the recharging runes, look in the settings under the main Compact Runes, look in the section Recharging Runes, and enabled "Show Timers". It will then show the seconds left to a rune is recharged.

Posted Mar 19, 2014I'm having an issue with the CD tracker, it seems to work fine with Evil Eye of Galakras, starting the countdown as the trinket buff falls off, but while it shows the icon for Thok's Tail Tip, it does not start a countdown when the trinket buff activates, or falls off.
No errors are showing up, and I'm using version 1.2

Posted Mar 21, 2014That trinket wasn't setup properly in the code. It is just a trinket with a proc. I submitted an alpha that hopefully will fix the issue. You can download it from here:

Any trinket listed in the addon should work. The only trinkets I haven't addressed really are RPPM since I haven't decided what would be intuitive to display for them. Perhaps time since last proc...

Posted Feb 20, 2014Im having a problem with the cooldown bar always resetting to the center of the screen whenever I load into a new zone or instance. Anyway to fix this?
