Description
Compact Runes is a re-write of DocsDebugRunes. It preserves the compact UI but adds additional features.
Configuration
To configure, type /crunes or use the game menu: Esc -> Interface -> AddOns (tab in top, left corner) -> Compact Runes. Next to the Compact Runes title on the right is a small plus sign that expands and provides more settings.
Features
It tracks the following items:
- Runes (shown horizontally or vertically) with an optional setting to show a numeric timer for each rune. Runes are sorted by the recharge timer but it can be disabled.
- Runic Power
- Diseases and time left.
- Sudden Doom, Shadow Infusion, Dark Transformation, Soul Reaper, Festering Wound, and Epidemic for Unholy.
- Rime/Freezing Fog, Killing Machine, Icy Talons, Razorice, and Remorseless Winter for Frost
- Death and Decay Bar for Blood and Unholy to show the buff for AoE.
- Blood Shield
- Vampiric Blood bar which shows the duration and cooldown.
- LDB/Minimap Icon Support
- RC Procs are indicated with a white border.
- RE procs, RC procs, and wasted Blood Charges tracking in the LDB tooltip.
- Crimson Scourge is shown as a proc.
- Out of melee range is indicated by a red border. This option can be disabled.
- An optional "Almost ready" rune state. The alpha can be adjusted independently for it.
- Cooldown Bars per spec. A configurable row of icons to show the cooldown on abilities and certain trinkets.
- Swing Timer (main hand).

Posted Aug 15, 2016I think these issues should be fixed in the latest alpha.
I try not to check the pet status often but the latest alpha should force a check every time you start combat and when your mount or unmount. That probably fixes the issue.

Posted Aug 9, 2016It looks as if Pestulant Pustules is adding a bar while in Unholy spec that cannot be manipulated. That's what I believe it is, anyway, as it increases in number with SS swings. Is there a way to move/deactivate this bar? Currently not seeing an option.

Posted Aug 8, 20161) I'd like a way to track Vampiric Blood's current cooldown progress as it gets reduced with Red Thirst. Can you add a vertical bar on the right-hand side for this?
2) The DnD bar is colored for Defile despite being Blood.
3) The DnD bar will show up for rune cooldowns when runes are completely exhausted which is a bit jarring.
4) Can you color Blood Tap's bar differently to more easily differentiate between Blood Boil? I'm having to force resposition it at the moment (http://imgur.com/a/pNXBs).
5) A proc icon for when Bone Shield is about to fall off would be cool (like <5 seconds and at >5 stacks).

Posted Aug 10, 2016You should probably create a ticket for these ideas.
1. I could consider adding that. Right now the Cooldown Bar does offer tracking of VB CD but that is with an icon and numeric timer.
2. As you point out below, so many spells are colored red for blood, that it made sense to consider Defile's color. I thought everyone would recognize it. You can actually change the colors of any bar too in the options. If you have a better idea, I'm open to suggestions.
3. The rune CD for DnD should be fixed in the next version.
4. I tried a different color for Blood Tap in the next version.
5. It was supposed to have a proc for Bone Shield at 6 and below. It will be in the next version.

Posted Aug 11, 2016I'd love to see a cooldown bar for VB if you could add one, especially since artifact talents and the legendary blood DK belt make it even more important in Legion.
Would it also be possible to add the new artifact abilities to the procs priority list?

Posted Aug 10, 2016If you go into the settings, click the plus sign (on the left side of the options) to expand the options you will see Colors. You can change almost all the bar colors and their text too.

Posted Jul 31, 2016Is the numeric value that USED to be inside the runic bar, supposed to be positioned outside the bar itself now?
Currently the screen shots for this addon show it that way. Although as of a few versions ago it was inside the bar. This is frustrating the crap out of me.
I'd say all text should be centered in INSIDE the bar they correspond to.
Is this currently a bug and going to be fixed? Or is it the way it is intended to be right now?

Posted Aug 10, 2016That should be fixed. The bars on the top had their numbers centered on the top center point of the while the rest had the numbers centered inside the bars. At the moment there is no option to change how the numbers are positioned.

Posted Jul 22, 2016It isn't a problem. For some reason in 7.0 the player's spec/talent information isn't being returned at times. In the next release I'm going to hide the message.
