ChocolateBar Broker Display

Table of Contents

ChocolateBar will create a bar on top or bottom of your screen where other addons called broker plugins can display stuff like your fps.

Example Bar:

Main Features

Easy setup, install & go!
Multiple bars - top or bottom as many as you want.
Left, right and center alignment.
Support for icon colors and coordinates like used by TomTom.
Easy config, simply drag a plugin and drop points will show. The idea is to easily disable a plugin or toggle its text. See pics.
Load-on-demand options, and small memory footprint.
More Chocolate - a broker plugin to show a bar that will autohide again. Great for launchers or other plugins you don't need visible all the time:)

Options for:

Show bars on mouse over only.
Hide bars in combat.
Hide bars during a pet battle.
Set a fixed width for any plugin.
Change textures, font, colors and a lot more...

Hello, i mean the space between 2 icons. Each pluging icon is separeted by a space of 1 cm on my bar and I couldn't find the setting for the spacing, as there is in the version 3.2.4.
I will try again today and let you know if it was just a bug on my side :)

Latest update 3.3 completely broke the addon, doesn't load. Reverting to 3.2.4 fixed it.

3.3.1 fixed the errors and the addon loaded, but turned all the labels on. Not a big deal to turn them back off again. Thanks!

3.3 screwed up my profiles, had to revert to an old wtf folder which I luckily had.

3.3.1 does not work with old profile either.

Had to revert back to 3.2.4 for my profiles to work properly.

I actually did that during the stress test but I have also added a support for labels and custom labels and that had some bugs.

Have a custom profile. If I change from default to the custom one this error pops.. At the time there is no items on the bar.

Is there a way to show labels as text?

With broker everything and bazooka bar, bazooka has an option to show the label of the broker addon, so i had the friends module loaded and in bazooka ticked the show label option which then showed Friends as text next to the number of friends.

I cant seem to see this label option with this addon. Is it possible to add?

Hi Siven.

If you right click on the ChocolateBar where you have nothing there it will open up the options. Scroll down to the addons you want to display the text and/or icon as well on the left side of the options and just tick or untick the box to have whatever you want as your preferred option, of course once you have selected that addon first. Everything and possibly more you can do in other Broker addons you can easily do on this one and as far as I am concerned this is hands down the best one by far. Good luck with it and I hope my instructions are clear enough for you to follow?

I tried to find something for you to be able to help out as another user, although I was not able to find anything -- I always thought that there was a way to do it though. Hopefully Yess or someone else is able to help you out with this?

i'm not sure why, some of my add-ons are invisible on the chocolate bar when i have one particular add-on enabled now.

z-perl, all the things, deadly boss mods, saved instances are all invisible.

and it seems that saved instances is the one causing it? if i disable 'saved instances' the problem is solved.

i seem to have found a way to avoid most issues

by moving some add-on icons out of middle chocolate bar.

putting a bunch over on the right allowed me to enable the ones i had disabled and appear in the center chocolate bar without errors...
